WWE has one of the best rosters in the current professional wrestling landscape, as all three brands for the company have incredibly talented in-ring competitors that strive to prove they are the best. That being said, it appears WWE talent are currently kept in the dark regarding their brand assignment following the company’s move to Netflix.
The announcement that Monday Night RAW is moving to Netflix created major discussion within the pro wrestling community. After all, WWE and Netflix confirmed their huge deal to move Monday Night RAW to the streaming service, which will begin in January 2025 and fans can expect a ton of changes in all avenues from next year.
It was previously reported that the first episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix will be taking place in Los Angeles on January 6, 2025 and that the show is likely to be one of the biggest episodes of RAW in history.
While speaking on Fightful Select’s Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that talent he has spoken to have not been informed which brand they will be assigned to once WWE moves to Netflix this year, so they are kept in the dark at the moment.
“Talent that I have spoken to haven’t been told which brand they will be on as of yet or if there will be a determining factor like a draft or a shakeup.”
Triple H has also revealed his confidence that fans will smoothly transition to Netflix without any issues. It is also to be noted that WWE is planning to have Travis Scott appear on the debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see whether there will be a huge shakeup among talent or if they will stay the same next year, as a new era of WWE is about to begin soon.
