The WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event was truly a night of memorable matches and solid moments from start to finish, as the company brought their A-game for the Saudi Arabian show. That’s why it comes as no surprise the event shattered their all-time viewership record in Saudi Arabia.
Ringside News was directly issued a press release by WWE, announcing that this year’s Crown Jewel event in Riyadh had record-breaking viewership—a 28% increase compared to 2023, making it the most-watched WWE event in Saudi Arabia to date.
The sixth annual Crown Jewel completely sold out the Mohammed Abdo Arena. The event featured new Crown Jewel Championship Titles, awarded in exciting champion vs. champion matches. Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion, took down World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER in the main event.
On the other hand, Liv Morgan, the Women’s World Champion, defeated WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, becoming the inaugural Crown Jewel Women’s Champion. Other matches saw Roman Reigns and The Usos lose to The Bloodline, Kevin Owens brutalizing Randy Orton and more moments took place throughout the night.
We will have to wait and see whether WWE will end up shattering more viewership records for the next time the company will be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the shows have truly reached a level fans never thought was imaginable.
