Survivor Series WarGames 2024 is gearing up to be a can’t-miss event as WWE prepares to bring the action to Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on November 30. But if you’re expecting the usual five-on-five WarGames clash, think again. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is shaking things up this year by planning a 4-on-4 showdown instead.
“Everything looks like a four-on-four rather than a five-on-five,” Meltzer stated, hinting that WWE is going all-in on a more focused, tight-knit battle. This comes after weeks of escalating drama between Sami Zayn, The Usos, Roman Reigns, and the “new Bloodline” led by Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu. WWE’s storyline fireworks went off in a big way during Crown Jewel 2024, where Roman, Jey, and Jimmy Uso battled against Sikoa’s squad, only to leave fans stunned with an unexpected loss and a tense post-match confrontation involving Sami Zayn.
During Crown Jewel, fans saw major Bloodline drama unfold when Zayn seemed to contemplate joining forces with Solo and the new Bloodline—before turning on them with an explosive attack. As chants of “Sami Uso” rang out from the Saudi crowd, Zayn ultimately sided with his old allies, sparking speculation about the direction WWE would take for Survivor Series.
If the Survivor Series match indeed ends up as a four-on-four, WWE fans are in for a wild ride as the battle lines tighten. While the classic WarGames format often includes ten competitors, a smaller, more personal clash could up the stakes and intensity, especially with emotions already running high in the Bloodline family.
Survivor Series is just around the corner—who do you think should join the final teams in this intense 4-on-4 WarGames? Are you ready to see the Bloodline rivalry hit new heights? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think!
