WWE icon The Undertaker is expressing his confidence in Omos’ potential, seeing a bright future for the towering star in WWE. Despite Omos’ absence from WWE television since April 2024, The Undertaker, a man who’s built a legacy of taking down giants and defending WWE’s honor, believes Omos could carve out a similar path as a special attraction.
Speaking in a recent Patreon Q&A, The Undertaker shared his thoughts on Omos’ career trajectory, appreciating WWE’s choice to use him selectively rather than overexposing him.
“I’m very optimistic. Obviously, now we’ve had several discussions. The fact that they are using him judiciously instead of just being out there, I’m excited. I think he becomes, at some point, I believe he becomes like the guardian of the castle, basically like I used to be. Anybody, any giant monster, anybody that ever came down the pike, I always got them. It was because I was an attraction, and I kept the castle clean. I didn’t get as many world title opportunities and all that. But you knew, if there was a threat to the kingdom, they knew who they were gonna – they were gonna call me,” Undertaker explained.
He continued, “And I feel eventually that’s gonna be his role. He will be the one that decides who comes and who goes in a storytelling aspect. I just hope that we get some guys coming down the road that actually can pose a physical threat to you.”
The Undertaker even suggested Bronson Reed as an example of a wrestler who could bring that much-needed physical threat to challenge Omos, potentially creating captivating rivalries that enhance both stars’ legacies.
As someone who made a career out of fending off threats to WWE’s kingdom, Undertaker sees Omos inheriting that mantle. The vision of Omos as the “guardian of the castle” gives fans a glimpse of a powerful, lasting role for the giant in WWE’s future.
