TNA Wrestling has seen considerable growth since returning to its roots through the Hard to Kill pay-per-view in January. Due to their constant changes, it comes as no surprise that they are now trying to land on a bigger platform than AXS TV.
While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy believes that TNA could gain more attention if it were available on a larger platform. Many people don’t get the channel that broadcasts TNA, so they miss out on seeing the quality of the show. Hardy feels that if more viewers had the chance to watch, they would see just how good it is.
Hardy noted that TNA is actively looking for a bigger platform beyond AXS TV, which could be a turning point for the promotion. He believes the product is currently strong, with plenty of engaging moments and storylines.
“I feel like there’s a lot of people that because they don’t have a channel that gets TNA, they don’t see it, and they don’t realize how good it is, but I think once you sit down and you watch it, you realize it’s really, really good. If they can find a bigger platform, which is something they’re actively working on than AXS TV, I think that would be a game changer because the product is really, really strong right now. It also has a ton of compelling moments and stories.”
TNA is obviously on a roll right now considering the fact that their Bound for Glory pay-per-view did remarkably well. While TNA may not get to be on a big network like Spike TV again, fans certainly hope they can land on a better platform than AXS TV, as the company continues its plans for overall expansion.
