WWE fans were shocked to hear that Samantha Irvin was leaving the company. She then revealed that she didn’t really like announcing, because she always envisioned herself in another role for the company, but she then later explained her comment. Since then, she has felt the need to comment, so things are clarified.
A Twitter account tweeted out to say that Samantha Irvin says she cried writing her WWE departure statement. This wasn’t an untrue statement, as Irvin was soon to jump on Twitter and confirm this.
Samantha Irvin then tweeted back as she provided some context to this tweet. She simply included a screen grab from a previous post that she sent out three days ago where she discussed her WWE departure.
“WWE changed my life! One day I will address everything in a way where hopefully people can feel my heart and where I am coming from. It was never my intention to hurt anyone by expressing that I didn’t like announcing. It is so much more nuanced than that. I loved performing, I loved emoting, I loved contributing to the shows that I have loved since the first episodes.”
“I am sad that my official statement that I cried writing is now mostly ignored but my addressing a hater comment was taken out of context and shared as my final statement to the entire WWE Universe. Lesson learned.”
Ricochet made it clear that Samantha Irvin isn’t going to AEW like he did. Still, Irvin has a ton of fans all over the pro wrestling world who can’t wait to see what she does next.
Samantha Irvin was soon replaced by Lilian Garcia, who resumed her role as WWE RAW’s ring announcer. Although Garcia returned to RAW, Mike Rome still filled the ring announcer role for WWE Crown Jewel 2024.
We will have to see what Samantha Irvin does next in her career. She will certainly miss WWE, because she received an amazing opportunity with the company and got to see the world. She had some amazing times, but everything must come to an end, as sad as that might be.
