Jey Uso won the Intercontinental Championship on the September 23 episode of Monday Night RAW, but he ultimately lost the title because of The Bloodline’s interference. Even then, it appears Uso’s popularity is undeniable, as he beat both Roman Reigns and CM Punk in merchandise sales for October 2024.

Ever since Jey Uso became a singles star last year, no one could have predicted his insane rise as a talent. The Yeet movement is in full force as fans all over the world always join in his chants and there is always a different energy when he’s in the arena.

According to Wrestlenomics, Jey Uso outsold both Roman Reigns and CM Punk combined when it came to merchandise sales in October this year. Jey Uso topped the list, followed by CM Punk and Roman Reigns. John Cena and Steve Austin were ranked #4 and #5 in merchandise sales accordingly as well. It was noted that Jey Uso’s merchandise sales alone (9,340) surpassed the combined sales of CM Punk (5,507) and Roman Reigns (3,792), which totalled 9,299.

Therefore, it’s a restatement of just how over Jey Uso is with the WWE audience. With that said, Jey Uso teamed up with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reign to square off against The Bloodline at WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, but it didn’t end in the way they expected. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see how WWE will continue to book their storyline as we head towards Survivor Series, as it’s clear that Jey Uso’s popularity is on a constant rise right now.
