With WWE’s November 4 edition of Monday Night Raw being taped from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, excitement among fans has been sky-high. But for one attendee, plans to share the action live hit a roadblock. The fan had managed to live-stream much of the show—including a pivotal Women’s Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship—until security intervened.
According to viewers of the interrupted stream, the fan had to pause multiple times, suggesting he was under close watch. Ultimately, security issued two warnings before shutting down his stream altogether. Later, the fan took to social media to apologize, explaining, “I am very sorry, brothers, the organizers are around us, and twice I received a warning, so I apologize again and I will complete excerpts for the show with you.”
WWE is understandably cautious about footage from the Riyadh tapings leaking online before the broadcast airs on the USA Network. With strict measures in place to protect exclusive content, it’s clear why security would act to prevent unauthorized streaming from the arena.
