Bronson Reed has a creative idea for honoring his recent Andre the Giant Battle Royal victory after finding out that WWE doesn’t offer a replica trophy.
Reed won the annual Battle Royal during WrestleMania weekend on SmackDown in 2024, adding his name to the prestigious list of winners. However, unlike title belts, the iconic trophy remains a one-of-a-kind keepsake that only stays on display within WWE. Each year, the winner’s name is added to the same trophy, making it a shared tradition rather than a personal souvenir.
During an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Reed revealed he had asked WWE’s merchandise team about the possibility of getting a replica to keep. “I have a replica North American Championship,” Reed said. “I asked the merchandise people, ‘Is there a replica Andre the Giant Battle Royal trophy?’ They’re like, ‘No, it’s just one.’”
Without a personal trophy to bring home, Reed is brainstorming other ways to honor the victory. “I was hoping…There’s gotta be someone that would [make a replica]. I said if not, I’ve been thinking about…I have a bunch of Andre figures. I might have to just spray paint one of them gold and wear it on a chain.” Reed’s said.
This unique approach may be as close as he can get to having a personal memento of his big win. Without a replica trophy to take home, Reed’s idea to fashion his own “trophy” from an Andre the Giant action figure and wear it around his neck is a fitting tribute to his sense of humor and connection to WWE’s legacy.
