Countdown To WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff Pre-Show (11/2/2024):

The Countdown To WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff Pre-Show opens up with a shot of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the Mohammed Abdo Arena, the site of tonight’s WWE Crown Jewel PLE. We then see the arrivals of Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER from earlier today.

We also see the arrivals of WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and WWE Women’s Champion “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax.

Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show and he introduces Corey Graves and Big E. The panel then runs through the card for tonight’s Crown Jewel PLE.

Cathy Kelley and Jackie Redmond then provide some updates on the OG Bloodline and the new Bloodline and the panel discusses the massive 6-Man Tag Team Match.

We then see WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER being interviewed by Joe Tessitore earlier this week. Tessitore asks about the King of the Ring Match with Randy Orton and GUNTHER says Orton was a big challenge. GUNTHER then talks about Orton’s pedigree. GUNTHER then says if he beat Orton it would change his career. GUNTHER then says he is a bit ahead of Cody Rhodes. Joe then asks what makes Rhodes a different kind of challenge. GUNTHER says Rhodes comes with the support of everybody. GUNTHER then says it would benefit the company if their poster boy wins instead of the person doing his own thing. GUNTHER is then asked if he is using that for motivation and GUNTHER says that is what he does. GUNTHER then says when Rhodes wakes up after being choked out, he will realize he is the secondary champion. Tessitore then asks how much GUNTHER wants to hold that title belt. GUNTHER says it is materialistic, but it will allow him to say he is the number one champion in the company. Tessitore then asks how is he better now than when he was the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion. GUNTHER says he has been able to outclass everyone he stands in the ring with over the last month.

We then see the arrivals of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill and their challengers.

We then get a video package looking at the rivalry between Seth “Freakin” Rollins and “Big” Bronson Reed.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley stops Seth “Freakin” Rollins to ask him about his match with “Big” Bronson Reed. Kelley asks Rollins how he feels. Rollins says he is not 100 percent, but has that stopped him before. Rollins then says he is ready to fight. Rollins then says this fight is a big test. Rollins then says this is one of the biggest tests of his career. Rollins then says it isn’t about slaying this monster, it is about who he is and what he has left in the tank. Rollins then says he has his eyes on big things. Rollins then says is he the Seth Rollins who is ready for another run at the World Championship.

We then get a video footage of Big E taking us on a tour of the food of Riyadh.

We then get a video package looking at the rivalry between “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Prize Fighter” Kevin Owens.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Kevin Owens. Kelley asks Owens how he is feeling. Owens thanks Kelley for pointing out that he was silenced. Owens then says WWE had a number of activities and he was in a dune buggy accident. Owens then says the driver was paid off by Cody Rhodes or Randy Orton. Owens then says everyone is against him since he attacked the Golden Boy, but Rhodes deserves it. Owens then says he is being forced to fight his friend. Owens then says he loved Randy Orton. Owens then says tonight he will make Orton feel worse than he did coming out of the dune buggy. Owens then apologizes to Kelley for being collateral damage. Owens then says this is all Orton’s fault.

Peter Rosenberg then talks about the match between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

We then see WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque being interviewed yesterday by Nathalie Mamo. Triple H is asked about this being the 12th WWE event in Saudi Arabia and the partnership and the effect on WWE. Triple H says this stemmed from the vision to bring the best entertainment from around the world. Triple H then says people didn’t know what to expect at first, but it has grown. Triple H then says they went from asking if they could bring women to work the shows to them being put on the billboards and having more women added to the show. Triple H is asked about the WWE Experience and Riyadh being the home for the exhibit. Triple H says The Saudi Arabian government wanted it to be a permanent facility. Triple H then says Riyadh is the perfect place to host this. Triple H then says it can be a focal point of Riyadh Season. Triple H is then asked about the Crown Jewel Championship matches. Triple H says when he grew up there were champions in different organizations and people would say what if. Triple H then says there is no better place than Saudi Arabia to do the best of the best. Triple H then says it had to be the most elaborate championship. Triple H then says the championships will stay in Saudi Arabia so people can see the belts and the history. Triple H then says they never look at what they have done, they look at what they can do better. Triple H then says they are looking at how to make the next one bigger. Triple H then says they try to over deliver every time they come to Saudi Arabia and when they leave, people feel they saw the greatest show they could see and it will be better next time. Triple H is then asked if WWE is here to stay in Saudi Arabia and he says yes.

The panel then talks about how the women’s division’s presence at these shows has grown. Big E then picks Nia Jax to win the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Match. Corey Graves also picks Nia Jax and Michael Cole brings up Tiffany Stratton and her promise to cash-in.

We then take a look at the Kickoff show from yesterday.

Jackie Redmond and Sheamus then joins Big E on the panel and we take a look at Big E’s tour of the food of Riyadh once again.

We then get a video package looking at the rivalry between the OG Bloodline and the new Bloodline.

We then get a video package looking at the rivalry between Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER.

We then see Cathy Kelley interviewing Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes earlier this week. Kelley asks Rhodes how he feels after being champion for seven months. Rhodes says he is the happiest he has ever been professionally. Rhodes then says there is a bit of leadership because he felt in the past when he had a leadership role, he failed. Rhodes then says he knows why he might have failed in the past. Kelley then asks Rhodes if he was able to spend the time he wanted with his daughter. Rhodes says he is willing to do more work because of his family. Rhodes then says he always wishes that his two girls never have to want because Brandi is his ride or die. Rhodes then says when you have the fever you want it. Kelley then asks Rhodes about teaming with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood. Rhodes says he liked it didn’t turn into a can they co-exist thing. Kelley then asks Rhodes about The Rock’s appearance after the match. Rhodes says it means that he can show up at any time and you have to follow him. Kelley then asks Rhodes about GUNTHER. Rhodes says he wants this match so much. Rhodes then says no one on paper looks better than GUNTHER. Rhodes then says he knows what GUNTHER did in WxW and NXT and he has bested GUNTHER in the two Royal Rumbles. Rhodes is then asked to respond to GUNTHER’s comments about being a secondary champion. Rhodes says GUNTHER can’t get to him with his comments. Rhodes then says if he loses at Crown Jewel, who main events Wrestlemania. Rhodes then says which title does the Rumble winner want. Rhodes then says you don’t want to be that champion.

We then see Cathy Kelley interviewing WWE Women’s Champion “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax. Kelley asks Jax about all of the variables beyond Liv Morgan tonight. Jax says she feels great. Jax then says everyone is obsessed with her. Jax then says she will squash Liv, Raquel and Dom. Jax then says she is not worried about Tiffy because it isn’t her time so she will sit back and watch. Jax then asks if this interview is over because she is busy and she leaves.

We then see Cathy Kelley interviewing WWE United States Champion “The Mega Star” LA Knight. Knight says it is a big weekend for him. Knight then says he did not celebrate his birthday. Knight then says he was in the gym training and trying to figure out how he will win. Knight then says he must have gotten to Nick Aldis after what happened in match seven. Knight then says Triple Threat changes the mix because he has no advantage. Knight then says the odds are stacked against him and it has been like this his entire career.

The panel then discusses the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match. Peter Rosenberg then talks about the match as well.

We then see Cathy Kelley in the crowd talking about the fans.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves then make their way down to the announce desk. Solo Sikoa and the rest of his Bloodline is then shown walking toward the Gorilla Position and the Countdown To WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff Pre-Show comes to a close.

WWE Crown Jewel Results (11/2/2024):

WWE Crown Jewel opens up with Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcoming us to the show. We then see the handlers of the WWE Crown Jewel Championship unloading the belts.

We then see the arrivals of Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER from earlier today. We also see the arrivals of WWE Women’s Champion “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax, 2024 Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton, The Judgment Day (WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez), “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Prize Fighter” Kevin Owens.

We then get a video package on WWE Crown Jewel.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

6-Man Tag Team Match: The Bloodline (“The Tribal Chief” Solo Sikoa, “The Right Hand Man” Tama Tonga and “The Samoan Werwolf” Jacob Fatu) vs. “The OTC” Roman Reigns and The Usos (“Main Event” Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso)

The match starts off with Sikoa Tama Tonga and Jey Uso. Tama hits Jey with double ax handles and kicks. Tama then rakes Jey’s spine, then hits an elbow across it. Jimmy then tags in and hits a double back elbow on Tama with Jey. Jimmy and Jey then hit an elbow drop on Tama, but Tama responds with a right hand and a headbutt. Tama then delivers some strikes on Jey in the corner, then tags in Jacob Fatu. Fatu then hits a right hand on Jimmy’s head, but Jey tags in. Jimmy and Jey then hit a series of open palm strikes on Fatu before The Bloodline takes a second to regroup on the outside. Tama then tags in and Jey wears his arm down with a submission hold. Reigns then calls to be tagged in, but Jey opts to tag in Jimmy instead. Reigns then stares down Jey as Jimmy questions why Jey didn’t tag in Reigns. Fatu then tags in and hits a couple of headbutts on Jimmy, then follows it up with a Hip Attack and tags in Solo Sikoa. Sikoa then hits Jimmy with a series of headbutts, then nails him with a clothesline and holds up the One symbol as he stares down Reigns. Tama then hits a cheap shot on Jimmy while the referee is distracted, but Jey tags in and delivers some right hands on Tama. Jey then hits an enzuigiri on Tama, then follows it up with a Hip Attack in the corner and goes for a pin. Tama then kicks out and Fatu tags in. Fatu then hits a Samoan Drop on Jey, then follows it up with a running senton and uses the ring ropes to wear down Jey.

Sikoa then hits a headbutt on Jey from the apron as the referee is distracted, then double teams on Jey with Fatu. Fatu then tags in and wears Jey down with a submission, but Sikoa tags back in and Jey delivers some right hands on him. Sikoa then nails Jey with an open palm strike, then tags in Tama. Tama then knocks Jimmy off the apron, but Jey nails him with a jawbreaker and a right hand. Reigns and Sikoa then tag in and both men exchange right hands with each other. Reigns then hits a chokeslam on Sikoa, then holds up the One symbol and sets up for a Superman Punch. Sikoa then sees him coming and gets Reigns up on his shoulders, but Reigns escapes and hits Sikoa with a Superman Punch. Reigns then lines up for a second one, but Sikoa hits him with a right hand and goes for a pin. Jimmy then breaks the fall and nails Tama with a superkick, but Fatu nails Jimmy with one of his own and follows it up with a DDT. Jey then nails Fatu with a couple of superkicks, then hits one on Sika and another one on Fatu. Jey then looks to hit a tope suicida on Fatu, but Fatu sees him coming and nails him with a headbutt. Reigns then hits a Superman Punch on Sikoa. Reigns then takes down Tama, but accidentally sends him crashing into the referee. Fatu then nails Reigns with a back elbow and hits him with a moonsault off the ropes. Fatu then nails Jimmy and Jey on the outside with a tope suicida and Sikoa hits a couple of Samoan Spikes on Reigns in the ring for the win.

After the match, The Bloodline continues beating down Reigns and Jimmy. They then look to send Reigns crashing through the English announce desk, but Jey goes after them. The Bloodline then overpowers him and Tama delivers some right hands on him. Loa then sends Jey crashing into the corner and The Bloodline places a chair around his neck, but Sami Zayn’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring to even the odds. Zayn then stares down Sikoa and takes note of Jey in the corner. As he contemplates what to do after being spotted talking to Sikoa previously, Zayn nails Sikoa with a suplex. The rest of The Bloodline then overpowers him, but Jey, Jimmy and Reigns come to Zayn’s aid. Sikoa then finds himself alone in the ring surrounded by Reigns, Jimmy, Jey and Zayn. Reigns then looks to hit a Superman Punch on Sikoa as Zayn goes for a Helluva Kick at the same time, but Sikoa moves out of the way and Zayn accidentally hits Reigns. Jimmy then gets in Zayn’s face, but Jey keeps the two men apart and Zayn heads to the back. Reigns then recovers and looks upset.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: Jade Cargill and “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair (c) vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven vs. Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane) vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson)

The match starts off with Bianca Belair and IYO SKY. Both women lock up and Belair hits SKY with a mat return. SKY then rolls Belair up and Belair sends SKY crashing into the mat with a delayed vertical suplex, then looks to follow it up with a springboard moonsault. SKY then moves out of the way to avoid it, then hits a hurricanrana and a dropkick on Belair. Green then tags herself in and SKY hits an open palm strike on her. Belair then delivers some right hands on Green in the corner and Niven on the apron, then hits a spinebuster and a springboard moonsault on Green. Belair then goes for a pin, but Green kicks out. Jakara Jackson then tags in and flies off Lash Legend’s shoulders to wear down Green, then goes for a pin but Green kicks out. Legend then tags in and hits a splash on Green in the corner, then tags in Jackson. Jackson then sends Green crashing into the mat, then hits her with a chop. Kairi Sane then tags in and hits a missile dropkick on Jackson, then hits a right hand on Legend and flies off the ropes to land on her. SKY then hits an uppercut on Jackson, then pulls her off the top rope and hits a dropkick on Legend. SKY then climbs to the top and hits a dropkick on Jackson.

Legend and Cargill then tag in and delivers some chops and forearms on each other in the ring. Cargill then nails Legend with a superkick, but Legend stays standing and looks to hit a pump kick on Cargill. Cargill then avoids it and hits Legend with one of her own. Green then tags in and looks to pin Cargill, but Cargill rolls out of the ring to avoid being pinned. Sane then flies off the top to hit Green and Niven with a back elbow, but Cargill hits Jaded on Green and goes for a pin. Damage CTRL and Legend then break the fall, but Belair nails the three women with forearms. SKY then sends Sane crashing onto Belair, but Jackson nails her with a dropkick off the top. Legend then gets Sane in an Electric Chair position and sends her over to Jackson who hits a sit-out powerbomb. Green and Niven then double team on Legend and Jackson to take them down. Niven then tags in and Green sets up for the Unprettier on Cargill. Cargill then avoids i and Niven accidentally hits a Vader Bomb on Green thinking that she’s Cargill. Belair then tags in and hits a modified Doomsday Device with Cargill on Niven for the win.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “Big” Bronson Reed vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The match starts off with Seth Rollins meeting Bronson Reed on the entrance ramp and both men begin to brawl. Reed then gets Rollins up on his shoulders and looks to send him crashing off the top of the entrance ramp, but Rollins escapes and both men continue brawling back down the ramp. Rollins then hits a tope suicida on Reed to land on him on the outside, but Reed sends Rollins crashing into the barricade near the timekeeper’s area. Reed then sends Rollins crashing into the ring steps, then sends him back into the ring and follows him. Reed then hits a couple of clotheslines on Rollins. Reed then climbs to the top and hits a Tsunami on Rollins. Reed then looks to hit a second one, but Rollins nails Reed with a Curb Stomp and goes for a pin. Reed then kicks out and Rollins delivers some strikes on him, but Reed gets Rollins up on his shoulders. Rollins then escapes and sets up for a Pedigree, but Reed avoids it. Rollins then looks to roll up Reed, but Reed counters it into a sit-out style senton and sends Rollins crashing into the corner. Reed then nails Rollins with a chop, but Rollins nails Reed with a boot. Rollins then looks to send Reed crashing into the mat, but Reed counters it into a crossbody and goes for a pin. Rollins then kicks out and Reed hits a right hand across Rollins’ spine.

Reed and Rollins then exchange chops with one another and Reed hits a knee on Rollins’ midsection. Rollins then responds with a DDT and climbs up the ropes, but Reed joins him up there. Rollins then sends Reed crashing into the mat, then hits him with a headbutt and a Frog Splash. Rollins then goes for a pin, but Reed kicks out. Reed then nails Rollins with a standing splash, then follows it up with a sit-out powerbomb and goes for a pin. Rollins then kicks out, but Reed hits him with a Death Valley Driver and goes for a pin. Rollins then kicks out and teeters on the ropes with Reed, but Reed hits him with a superplex and goes for a pin. Rollins then kicks out and Reed climbs to the top, but Rollins rolls out of the way before Reed can fly. Reed then hits a running senton on Rollins and climbs back up to the top, but Rollins rolls out of the ring. Reed then follows him and sends his face bouncing off the Arabic announce desk. Rollins then hits a Curb Stomp on Reed when he gets back inside the ring, then climbs up the ropes and hits a second Curb Stomp on Reed for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Seth “Freakin” Rollins!

After the match, Reed gets back to his feet and glares at Rollins, who looks shocked that Reed is up. Reed then motions for Rollins to return, but Rollins jaws at him while backing up the ramp. Rollins then tells Reed that he knows where to find him. Rollins then says the same thing will happen again if Reed comes looking for him.

The handlers of the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship belt is then shown and Michael Cole hypes that the match is coming up next.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Championship Match. We also get video footage from this past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT of the Rhea Ripley injury angle. Michael Cole says Ripley suffered a fractured right orbital socket and will be out indefinitely.

WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Match: The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs. WWE Women’s Champion “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax

The match starts off with Morgan delivering some right hands on Jax. Jax then sends Morgan crashing into the mat, then nails her with a headbutt and follows it up with an elbow drop. Morgan then hits a step-up knee on Jax in the corner, then sends her crashing into the mat and goes for a pin. Jax then kicks out and hits a Samoan Drop on Morgan, then goes for a pin but Morgan kicks out. Jax then sends Morgan into the corner, then hits her with a Hip Attack and charges at her in the corner. Morgan then sends Jax crashing into the ring post, then delivers some stomps on her spine. Jax then gets Morgan up on her shoulders and climbs up the ropes, then hits her with a Samoan Drop and goes for a pin. Morgan then kicks out and Jax sends her head bouncing off the mat, then places her on the top rope and follows her up there.

Tiffany Stratton’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring looking to cash in her Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase. Jax then asks her what she’s doing and Stratton tries to explain herself. Morgan then hits Jax with a single leg dropkick through the bottom rope and looks to fly. Jax then intercepts her with a right hand and sends Stratton to the back. Stratton then retreats up the ramp, but decides to go back down as Jax sends Morgan crashing into the mat and pins her. Morgan then kicks out and Stratton looks to cash in her Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase, but Raquel Rodrigues prevents her from doing so. This then opens the door for Morgan to hit a Codebreaker off the middle rope and go for a pin, but Jax kicks out as Dominik Mysterio cheers on Morgan. Morgan and Rodriguez then get into Stratton’s face, but Jax nails Rodriguez and Stratton from behind and gets Morgan back in the ring. Jax then hits a leg drop on Morgan, then climbs up the middle rope as Dominik slides the Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase to distract the referee. Rodriguez then pushes Jax off the middle rope and Morgan hits Jax with the Oblivion for the win.

The winner and first-ever WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion, The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan!

After the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque enters the ring and presents Morgan with the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Morgan then appears to be emotional for a moment. Pyro then shoots off as Triple H holds Morgan’s hand up and hugs her.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Kevin Owens attacks Randy Orton with a chair before the bell can ring for their scheduled match and delivers some stomps on him as referees try to regain control. Owens then clears the English announce desk, but Orton delivers some right hands on him. Owens then responds with a few of his own, but Orton sends him crashing on top of the English announce desk. Owens and Orton then get in the ring and Owens hits Orton with the chair. Owens then looks to hit Orton again, but the referee grabs the chair from Owens. Owens then hits a Stunner on the referee as officials make their way down to the ring. Orton then grabs the chair from Owens and hits him with it, but Owens nails another official. Orton then sends Owens crashing into the announce desk and sends him back in the ring, then looks to hit him with the chair. An official then grabs the chair from Orton, but Orton sends the official crashing into the ring post and Orton hits Owens with a draping DDT. Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce then make their down to the ring to try and stop Owens and Orton. Orton hits an RKO on Pearce and but Owens sends Orton crashing into the ring post. Orton and Owens then brawl through the crowd, but Owens hits Orton repeatedly with a piece of equipment and climbs up some stairs onto a road case. Owens then hits an elbow drop on Orton over a barricade that sends both himself and Orton crashing through a table. Both men then stay down and the brutal brawl finally ends.

Commentary then recaps some highlights from the Orton and Owens brawl. Graves then plays up the idea that Owens is a danger to himself and everyone else in WWE. Commentary then shifts the focus to setting up the United States Championship Match and we get the entrances of the WWE United States Championship Triple Threat Match.

WWE United States Championship Triple Threat Match: “The Mega Star” LA Knight (c) vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes

The match starts off with Hayes and Andrade wasting no time in going after one another. Both men delivers some right hands on each other and Knight delivers some right hands and left hands on them. Knight sends Hayes’ face bouncing off the English announce desk repeatedly and Andrade nails Hayes with a springboard moonsault. Andrade then hits a meteora on Hayes and sends Knight out of the ring, then climbs to the top and hits a moonsault on him. Knight then looks to hit the BFT on Hayes, but Hayes avoids it. Andrade then hits a back elbow on Knight, but Hayes hits a Codebreaker on him on top of Knight and sends Andrade crashing into Knight. Hayes then pins both Knight and Andrade, but Knight and Andrade kick out. Andrade then hits a Canadian Destroyer on Hayes, then hits his signature moonsault on Knight and goes for a pin, but Hayes breaks the fall. Andrade then hits a Spanish Fly on Hayes off the top and pins him, but Hayes kicks out. Knight then hits a double senton-clothesline combination on Hayes and Andrade off the top and pins them, but Hayes and Andrade kick out. Hayes then trips Andrade on the ropes, but Knight hits then BFT on both men and pins Hayes for the win.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves then hypes Survivor Series: War Games and the Crown Jewel post show.

We then get the entrances of the main event of the night, which is a WWE Crown Jewel Championship Match.

WWE Crown Jewel Championship Match: Imperium’s 2024 King of the Ring winner and World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER vs. Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes

The match starts off with both men locking up. Both men then take turns wearing each other down with submissions, but Rhodes looks to hit the Bionic Elbow on GUNTHER. GUNTHER then hits a chop on Rhodes, but Rhodes sends GUNTHER crashing out of the ring and hits him with an enzuigiri. GUNTHER then hits Rhodes with a Sleeper, but Rhodes escapes. GUNTHER then sends Rhodes crashing into the ring apron, then hits a chop and a bodyslam on him on the floor. GUNTHER then hits a couple of uppercuts on Rhodes, but Rhodes responds with several right hands of his own. GUNTHER then hits a bodyslam on Rhodes and Rhodes responds with a boot on the side of GUNTHER’s head. Rhodes then hits a bodyslam on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER responds with a bodyslam of his own and climbs up the ropes. Rhodes then intercepts GUNTHER with a right hand and hits him with a superplex, then follows it up with a scoop powerslam and the Bionic Elbow. Rhodes then hits the Cody Cutter on GUNTHER and looks to fly off the ropes.

GUNTHER then intercepts Rhodes with a Boston Crab, then locks in a Sleeper on him. Rhodes then grabs the top rope, but GUNTHER nails him with a German release suplex and locks in a Sleeper once again. Rhodes then escapes and hits a Stunner on GUNTHER, then follows it up with a Cross-Rhodes. GUNTHER then responds with a powerbomb and pins Rhodes, but Rhodes kicks out. GUNTHER then mocks Rhodes, but Rhodes shoves him. Rhodes then nails GUNTHER with a suplex, but GUNTHER turns Rhodes inside out with a clothesline. Rhodes then nails GUNTHER with a second Cross-Rhodes and goes for a pin, but GUNTHER kicks out. Rhodes then sets up for a third Cross-Rhodes, but GUNTHER avoids it. Rhodes then looks to hit GUNTHER with a Cody Cutter off the ropes, but GUNTHER nails Rhodes with a Sleeper. Rhodes then counters it into a pinfall for the win.

After the match, commentary acknowledges that the finish was similar to the one used by Bret Hart and Roddy Piper. GUNTHER then offers a handshake to Cody and Cody accepts. GUNTHER then jaw jacks at Cody and Cody nods, then GUNTHER exits the ring. Michael Cole then says the company has two great champions heading into the future. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque then enters the ring with two men and two women and presents Cody with his Crown Jewel Championship. Cole then says the title belts will stay in a vault in Saudi Arabia and the winners will receive Super Bowl-like rings that they can wear throughout the year. Pyro then shoots off behind Cody while Levesque and one of the dignitaries raises his arms. Liv Morgan then joins in and one of the dignitaries joins Levesque in raising the arms of Cody and Morgan while pyro shoots off behind them on the stage. Cody and Morgan then poses on the ropes and the show comes to a close.
