WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has officially confirmed WWE’s ongoing commitment to Saudi Arabia, signaling that the company is “here to stay.”
In an interview recorded on Friday with WWE’s Middle Eastern social media team, Levesque spoke with Nathalie Mamo during the Crown Jewel countdown ahead of Crown Jewel in Riyadh.
Reflecting on WWE’s transformative partnership with the country, Triple H said, “This all stems from His Excellency’s vision to bring the best entertainment from around the world… When we first started here, I think fans were excited, but they didn’t know what to necessarily expect. And over that time, I’ve seen that change exponentially.” He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s journey from hosting its first women’s match to now calling for more female talent on shows, showcasing how WWE has contributed to the region’s entertainment evolution.
Triple H also discussed the WWE Experience facility in Riyadh and revealed a unique feature for fans: “The championships will actually stay here in Saudi, so that fans can come here to the experience and see them in the vault, and get a look at the history that they own and that they have created here.”
Triple H compared the champion vs. champion matches to legendary encounters like Bruno Sammartino vs. Harley Race, underscoring the global impact WWE aims to achieve with each event.
When asked about WWE’s future in the region, Levesque emphasized a commitment to “over-delivering” each time WWE returns. “As soon as it’s over, we’re looking at, okay, how can we make this show bigger for next year?” he explained, reinforcing WWE’s dedication to continuously elevate the fan experience.
Triple H ended on a simple but powerful note when asked if WWE is here to stay in Saudi Arabia: “Yes.”
