WWE brought another Crown Jewel premium live event to the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show had many drawing points, including Roman Reigns and The Usos getting their hands on the new Bloodline.
At Crown Jewel 2024, Roman Reigns and The Usos faced off against The Bloodline team of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga, who was accompanied by Tonga Loa, in a six-man tag team match.
Roman Reigns is incredibly over in Saudi Arabia, as “OTC” chants rang out before his entrance. Jimmy came out with Roman, but “Main Event” Jey Uso got his own Yeet-filled entrance through the crowd, and it was epic.
This whole match build toward Roman Reigns getting the tag. When he did, he was against Solo Sikoa. He was able to take Solo down, but the new Tribal Chief jumped up and was able to nail a Samoan Spike out of nowhere for a near fall, but Jimmy Uso was able to break up the pin.
Jacob Fatu got the tag next, and he took down Roman Reings, nailed a splash, and then jumped on the Usos. Solo Sikoa then picked up a beaten Roman for two Samoan Spikes in a row, and he pinned the Original Tribal Chief for a clean victory. This was a shocking conclusion for the opening match of WWE Crown Jewel.
After the match was over, the new Bloodline started mauling on Jimmy Uso. Roman reigns stayed helpless in the ring, as they dragged him to ringside and Tama took him down with a headbutt. Then they closed off the announce table and almost hit a triple powerbomb, but Jey Uso jumped in to stop them.
The new Bloodline beat Jey Uso down in the middle of the ring, and then Solo Sikoa was given a steel chair, which he used to wrap around Jey Uso’s head. Suddenly, Sami Zayn made his way out to the ring.
The Saudi Arabian crowd popped in a big way for Sami Zayn, because they love him. As they sang Sami’s song, he stood between Solo and Jey Uso. Solo tried talking to Sami, suggesting that he join the new Bloodline. The Saudi crowd started chanting “Sami Uso” as Zayn walked up to Solo for a hug, but he gave him an Exploder suplex instead.
Then Roman Reigns jumped in the ring and Solo was taken down. In the end, Solo Sikoa was stuck in the middle of the ring, with the old bloodline at each corner. He had nowhere to go, but then Sami went for a Helluva kick as Roman went for a Spear, and he ran into Roman as Solo Sikoa got away.
This was a shocking conclusion for the opening of WWE Crown Jewel. We will have to see how things pan out, but it may all lead to Survivor Series WarGames on November 30.
