The Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia saw the 2024 Crown Jewel event take place. The show included a few notable title matches, including the United States Championship.

LA Knight defended his United States Title against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in a triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship. This match was a long time coming, as Carmelo and Andrade are coming off an amazing best-of 7 series, one that Knight messed up during the October 25 SmackDown with his special referee gig a couple of weeks ago.

In the end, Nick Aldis booked LA Knight in a match where he was defending his U.S. Title against both Carmelo Hayes and Andrade. That put Knight at a disadvantage, one he never wanted to be in.

LA Knight was incredibly over in Saudi Arabia as fans popped in a huge way, and they chanted “YEAH!” right on cue. This match got started off fast with LA Knight taking lefts and rights to both opponents. They loved LA Knight in Saudi Arabia, until Carmelo Hayes and Andrade took Knight out with double kicks.

This match continued as the three battled for control. At one point, Andrade nailed a splash off the top to the floor on Knight when it looked like he might hit Carmelo with a splash instead. Carmelo then answered with a dive of his own onto El Idolo. They brought it in this match, as it was one move after another, all in tandem to apply punishment to each other, and trading near falls.

Andrade nailed a destroyer on Hayes as fans chanted “Si!” Fans were hot for this match, as the competitors fed off that energy. Hayes and Andrade made it to the top rope, but El Idolo reversed into a spinning powerslam off the top for a near fall.

Then LA Knight hyped up the crowd as he nailed a double elbow drop off the top for a double pinfall attempt. They all eventually ended up on top, as Andrade took a move from LA Knight, but then Hayes hit a Nothing But Net on Knight for a two-count that Andrade broke up.

They landed boots to each other and then LA Knight hit a BFT on Carmelo Hayes at the perfect second as Hayes as doing a tilt-a-whirl move on Andrade, which sent El Idolo to the mat at the same time. This was a big win for LA Knight in Saudi Arabia, and he ate up the cheers in Saudi Arabia.
