GUNTHER Willing to Teach Goldberg a Lesson After WWE Bad Blood Confrontation

WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER fears no man and that includes even WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, as the two had a brief confrontation last month and now The Ring General has finally addressed the confrontation.

At the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, tensions escalated when WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER confronted Goldberg. While Goldberg was in the audience with his family, GUNTHER taunted him, calling him a “one-trick pony” to get a reaction. As Goldberg tried to respond to the provocation, security quickly stepped in to stop him from entering the ring.

While speaking on La Previa de WWE: Crown Jewel, GUNTHER talked about his recent encounter with Goldberg. He explained that he was invited to talk about the Crown Jewel Championship and saw a lot of wrestling legends backstage, including Goldberg, whom he hadn’t officially met before.

When their eyes met, GUNTHER thought it would be fun to tease him a bit. However, he quickly realized Goldberg doesn’t take things lightly. GUNTHER then added that if Goldberg is interested in coming back to wrestle, he’d be more than willing to face him in the ring and teach him a lesson.

“So I was invited out there (at Bad Blood) to speak about the Crown Jewel Championship and we had a lot of legends in the house, and I met a lot of them backstage and one of the very few that I didn’t meet that I just saw was there before was Goldberg so when our eyes crossed, basically, I was like, why not break some balls a little bit? He doesn’t seem able to take things lightly. I tried to lighten up the mood a little bit… If push comes to shove and he thinks he wants to get back into the business and wrestle again, then, I’m happy to teach him a lesson.”

For the record, it was previously reported that Goldberg is not scheduled to be in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, so fans should temper their expectations regarding a possible appearance from the WWE Hall of Famer. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see when Goldberg and The Ring General will square off against each other, as the match between the two is inevitable now.
