WWE fans are watching Crown Jewel closely, because a ton of surprises are expected. The company always likes to bring in big names for their Saudi Arabian events, but Goldberg is apparently not one of them.

Many fans thought that Goldberg and GUNTHER were destined to collide. This was hyped up even more as they had a confrontation at WWE Bad Blood 2024 in Atlanta. It runs out that Goldberg didn’t make the trip to Saudi Arabia this time around.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that Goldberg was spotted at a luncheon for the Florida- Georgia Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday. That being said, the former champion didn’t fly over with WWE’s crew.

“Goldberg was at the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and luncheon Friday and did not fly over to Saudi Arabia with the WWE Crew.”

GUNTHER is battling Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship at this year’s event. Many fans thought that would be the perfect chance for Goldberg to jump in and cost GUNTHER that title to set up a future match.

While Goldberg vs GUNTHER may still be on WWE’s agenda, they may not move that storyline forward at Crown Jewel 2024. Triple H’s operation has shocked fans before, so we will still be on the edge of our seat for the Crown Jewel Championship match.

We will have to see if Goldberg shows up at Crown Jewel anyway. If he is there, then it would be a big surprise and special travel accommodations needed to be made for him. Then again, it is quite a trek to Saudi Arabia, so time is certainly an issue as well.
