It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! AEW Collision will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the November 2, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with Tony Schiavone in the middle of the ring and he is surrounded by the entire tag team division in and out of the ring.
Tony Schiavone then introduces the brand-new AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party (Zay and Quen) and they make their way out with Daniel Garcia. Schiavone starts off by saying on Dynamite they turned in one of the most tremendous performances he has ever seen. Schiavone then says it must feel great. Zay then says they can’t hear Schiavone because they’re listening to the fans. Zay then says at the start of the year they said new year, new champs. Zay then says it may have taken them a long time, but they did it. Zay then says when a man swears on his momma, you better believe it. Quen then thanks the Young Bucks for making them earn the belts because they have gotten better every time they’ve stepped in the ring with them and now they have the proof. Zay then says but what’s next for Private Party. The fans then chant “shots” and Zay says that is what comes after. Zay then says they’re willing to defend the titles against anybody and everybody and that means everybody and they get in the face of FTR. Both teams then immediately begin jawing and showing each other. One of the Outrunners then says they’re only there for one reason and that is to celebrate Private Party’s five-year journey in Philadelphia. The other Outrunners then says the Bucks are gone, but Private Party is here and it’s their time now. He then puts over AEW, where the best tag team wrestle. Private Party and FTR then show each other respect. Zay then says the party is never gonna end because there ain’t no party like a Private Party and that’s a flex. Private Party is then shown celebrating with the fans in the front row.
AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May and Anna Jay are then both shown arriving at the arena and Jay tells Philadelphia to get ready for their new AEW Women’s World Champion. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness then run down the rest of the card for tonight’s show.
We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing The Acclaimed. They say we have new champions, but they are the winningest team in AEW history. Anthony Bowens then congratulates Private Party and says he is proud of them as fellow homegrown AEW stars, but don’t let that fool you because they are coming for the titles. Max Caster then says they’re not going to stop chasing them just because it’s Private Party instead of The Young Bucks. Caster then says Private Party doesn’t have the best wrestler alive on their team, so when the two teams lock up there’s only one outcome because everyone loves The Acclaimed. Caster then says Private Party is still on the come-up and the fans still love The Acclaimed. Caster then says the fans give him all their money and pulls it out to show everyone, but MVP’s card is still there which surprises Bowens. Caster then says Private Party doesn’t have the Hurt Syndicate desperate for The Acclaimed to join up. Bowens then gets things back on track and again says that everyone loves The Acclaimed.
We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is the Day Of The Dead Match.
The match starts off with Rosa shoving Cameron. Harley then fires back with kicks to the mid-section of Rosa. Cameron then turns her back as Rosa sends her to the mat. Rosa then kicks Cameron, sending her to the floor. Rosa then runs through the ropes with a drop kick. Rosa then chops Cameron as she grabs a trash can lid and hits Cameron in the back multiple times. Rosa then grabs Cameron and climbs the barricade. Cameron then walks the barricade and pulls down Rosa. Cameron then slams the head of Rosa on the floor. As Rosa gets up, Cameron drops her again. Cameron then grabs a day of the dead display, but Rosa turns it around and sends Cameron into the display as it breaks. Rosa then grabs chairs from under the ring and then gets a table and puts it in the ring. Rosa then picks up Cameron and slams her head on the ring apron. Rosa then hits Cameron in the back with a chair. As Cameron is down, Rosa picks her up and Cameron comes back and Rosa drops Cameron on the mat. Cameron then sends Rosa in the ring and puts her in headlock. Rosa then fights back, but Cameron gets the hold again. Cameron then sends Rosa against the ropes, but Rosa comes back and hits Cameron. Both women. then run the ropes and take each other down. The referee then checks on both women. Rosa and Cameron then exchange shots. Rosa then drops Cameron and covers her for only a two count. Rosa then grabs chairs and sets them up. Rosa then goes to the floor and grabs part of the day of the dead display and sets it up on the chairs. Cameron then nails Rosa. Cameron then covers Rosa, but Rosa kicks out a two. Cameron then slams Rosa’s head on the chair and then chokes her. Cameron then runs the ropes as Rosa moves. Rosa then nails Cameron with the chair and sets a trash can over Cameron. Rosa then kicks the can as Cameron drops. Rosa then sets up a table in the ring. Rosa then uses the table as a way to launch herself up and double kick Cameron. Rosa then covers Cameron for the win.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is speaking with The Undisputed Kingdom. Roderick Strong says Shane Taylor is his first obstacle to MJF. They then talk about Adam Cole being back. Matt Taven then says they have made changes and are focused on the tag titles. They get interrupted by Brian Cage and Lance Archer and says they need to sit down and watch what a real tag team does.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Kyle Fletcher kicking Komander and sending him down as the referee checks on him. Fletcher then picks up Komander and drops him hard on his back. Komander then struggles to get up. As he gets up, Komander is is chopped by Fletcher. Fletcher then grabs Komander and hangs him upside on the ropes and starts kicking him and Komander drops down. Fletcher then picks him up and sends him to the opposite corner. Fletcher then charges at Komander, but Komander moves. Komander then goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out. Komander then climbs the ropes and Fletcher comes back and pushes Komander. Fletcher then goes to the floor and sends Komander into the apron. Fletcher then goes to the floor and sends Komander into the guardrail. Fletcher then grabs Komander and sends him back in the ring. Fletcher then stomps on Komander repeatedly and the referee checks on Komander. Fletcher then charges at Komander, but Komander moves and sends Fletcher hard to the mat. Fletcher then rolls to the outside. Komander then runs the ropes to dive on Fletcher, but Fletcher moves. Fletcher then superkicks Alex Abrahantes. Komander then jumps over the ropes and takes down Fletcher on the outside. Fletcher is back in the ring. Komander then kicks Fletcher. Komander then comes back and takes down Fletcher and goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out. Komander then runs the ropes and jumps up and comes down, but Fletcher gets his knees up. Fletcher then powerbombs Komander and covers him, but Komander kicks out. Fletcher then sets up for a tiger driver, but Komander counters and goes for a pin and Fletcher kicks out. Komander is up on the shoulders of Fletcher as he drops him to the floor. Fletcher is back up on the apron. Fletcher then kicks Komander, but Komander counters and drops Fletcher on the apron. Fletcher then rolls back in the ring. Komander then runs the ropes and comes down with a moonsault on Fletcher and covers him for just a two count. Fletcher then comes back and kicks Komander with a running foot. Komander then flies off the ropes, sending Fletcher to the floor. Komander then goes up on the ropes, runs them and flies on Fletcher on the floor. Komander then sends Fletcher back in the ring. Komander is up, but Fletcher pushes him off the ropes and picks him up and drops him. Fletcher then kicks Komander in the face. Fletcher then sends Komander head first on the top turnbuckle and covers him for the win.

After the match, Mark Davis makes his way down to the ring to confront Fletcher. Both men then jaw jack at teach other as Fletcher walks off. Fletcher then turns around and jaw jacks at Davis before leaving.
We then get a promo from TNT Champion Jack Perry. Perry says some things are changing these days. Daniel Garcia then shows up and says he only wants to talk. Garcia then says Perry was handed everything even when he was kid. Garcia then says he has been dealing with trash like Perry all his life. Perry then tells Garcia he has fought for everything and his dream turned it’s back on him. Perry then says he sees his dreams for what it really is. Perry ten tells Garcia he can’t tell the difference. Perry then tells Garcia he is afraid and that is why he is not ready.
ROH World TV Champion Brian Cage and Lance Archer then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and their opponents are already in the ring.
The match starts off with Cage sending Smith out of the ring and taking it to Keys. Archer is then tagged in. Archer sends Keys down with a big lariat. Keys then tags in Smith, but Archer nails him as he comes off the ropes and slams him down. Archer then sends him to the floor. As he tries to come back in the ring, Cage picks up Smith and suplexes him in the ring. Archer then picks up Keys and slams him down. Cage and Archer then pick him up and slam him down. Cage then covers Keys with one hand for the win.

After the match, Archer hits Keys with a blackout and Cage takes Smith down with a drill claw. The assault then continues as The Undisputed Kingdom make their way down to the ring to make the save. We then go to the back and we see Kyle O’Reilly and Shane Taylor looking on.
We then see Lexy Nair interview AR Fox, but he is interrupted by Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian. Wayne tells Fox the biggest mistake he made was jumping him at Fox’s wrestling school. Fox then challenges Wayne to a match for next week’s Collision.
We then get a video footage recapping Kris Statlander’s victory over Kamille on Dynamite. We then see Kris Statlander backstage and she says she has been replaying the post-match attack from Mercedes Mone in her mind and it pisses her off. Statlander then says she is sorry she crushed Mercedes’ Brick House, but if Moné is everything she says she is then she shouldn’t be a big deal. Statlander then says Moné struts around like she’s something special, but hides behind an entourage because she’s afraid. Statlander then says Moné should be afraid of her because last year at Full Gear she only walked in as TBS Champion. Statlander then says this year she’s walking out as TBS Champion.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley’s music then hits and he comes out with Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta. Moxley says they’re live in Philadelphia, the home of Orange Cassidy. Moxley then says Cassidy said in three weeks he’s gonna cut the head off the snake and win the AEW World Championship. Moxley then says Orange Cassidy wants to be the king and he’s got the right idea, but it’s not that simple. Moxley then says the game doesn’t begin at Full Gear, the game has already begun. Moxley then says the question is not whether Cassidy can slay the dragon in the ring, the question is if Cassidy can make it to Full Gear with his body and mind intact. Moxley then says Orange Cassidy bringing the world title home to Philly would be something for them all to be proud of. Moxley then says he’s given Philly something to be proud of and he knows what kind of person it takes to make it in Philly. Moxley then says Philly creates champions and people of unshakeable character like Wheeler Yuta. Moxley then says Philly creates honest, hard-working people that do their job like Yuta. Moxley then says he loves this kid and he will do anything for this kid. Moxley then says Yuta understands sacrifice and putting your ego aside for the mission.Moxley then says Yuta knows what it’s like to fight for something bigger than himself and Yuta is a Philly hero.
Action Andretti’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring and grabs a mic. Action says he can’t listen to this for another second. Action then says Moxley is calling Wheeler Yuta a hometown hero, but Yuta is not what Philly represents. Action then says you want to talk about anybody representing Philly, then you can talk about him. Action then says when you’re in their city, they’re all about that action. Action then says he came out here by himself to throw hands with any single one of the BCC right here right now. It then looks like Yuta wants to accept Action’s challenge, but then PAC jumps Action from behind. Action then crawls to the corner and referee Bryce Remsburg makes his way out as an impromptu match is made.
The match starts off with PAC kicking Action and then choking him out using a big boot to the throat. PAC then kicks Action and puts a big boot to his face. PAC then sends Action to the floor. PAC then sends Action into the guardrail and chops him. PAC then picks up Action and slams him down to the mat. PAC then picks up Action and sends him into the guardrail. PAC then grabs Action and sends him again into the guardrail. PAC then goes into the ring. PAC then distracts the referee as Moxley kicks Action. Action then makes it back in the ring. PAC then picks up Action and chops him. PAC then sends Action to the opposite side of the ring and nails him in the face. PAC then pics up Action and drops him on the mat. PAC then takes down Action with a snap suplex. PAC then kicks Action and drops him down to the mat. PAC then applies a headlock on Action as the referee checks on him. PAC then sends Action to the ropes and Action hits PAC with a back elbow. PAC then gets Action up, but Action moves. Action then runs the ropes and drop kicks PAC. Action then runs the ropes and goes over the top rope and lands on PAC on the floor. PAC is back in the ring as Action gets in and delivers some punches on PAC. Action then kicks PAC. Action then hits the ropes and hits a kick on PAC and then drops him with a falcon arrow. Action then covers PAC, but PAC kicks out at two. Yuta, Moxley and Marina then distracts the referee and nails Action. PAC then kicks Action. PAC then puts Action in the brutalizer and Action passes out and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, PAC still has the brutalizer on and Orange Cassidy shows up. Cassidy then says go birds and how much Yuta loves Philadelphia. Cassidy then reminds Yuta how he slept on his couch with their other room mate Chuck Taylor. Cassidy then says the old Yuta would not wrap a chair around someone’s neck. Cassidy then says Moxley doesn’t care about Yuta and he is only using him. Cassidy then says up the road at Full Gear he brings back the old Yuta, beats Jon Moxley and becomes the new AEW World Champion. Yuta and Moxley then exchange words. Moxley then slaps Yuta, who then leaves the ring with a chair. Yuta then confronts Cassidy and he seems conflicted. Yuta then looks back at Moxley and then runs at Cassidy, but Cassidy counters and nails Yuta with an Orange Punch and drops Yuta. Cassidy then retreats.
We then get a video vignette of Malakai Black addressing Adam Cole. Malakai Black talks about the phrase idle hands do the devil’s work. Black says he’s been sitting idly by for so long that he’s become a shadow. Black then says he and Cole are becoming relics of the previous era. Black then says he wants Cole to be the person to end all of this, to silence all the things in his head and to muffle the voices. Black then says if Cole doesn’t, then he is going to drag Cole down and show him something blacker than the darkest black.
We then see Lexy Nair interviewing Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita. Fletcher says Don Callis Family looks into the future. Fletcher then says its time for him and Takeshita to jump back in the tag title scene.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Daivari going after Rush. Daivari then takes down Rush, but Rush fires back on Daivari. The referee then has the attention of Rush as Daivari comes back with a huge clothesline on Rush, sending him to the floor. Rush then rolls up Daivari, but Daivari kicks out at two. Daivari then chops Rush, who fires back with big elbow shots. Rush then runs the ropes and takes down Daivari with a falcon arrow. Rush then climbs the ropes, but Daivari rolls to the floor. Rush then takes out Josh Woods and Mark Sterling on the outside. Rush then sends Daivari back in the ring. Daivari then comes back and drops Rush with a DDT. Rush then comes back and drops Daivari with a cutter. Rush then goes to the top and comes down with a huge frog splash on Daivari. Rush then covers Daivari for the win.

We then see Lexy Nair interviewing MxM Collection and Johnny TV. Nair asks Johnny about watching MxM’s match last week. Johnny says fashion saves more lives than doctors. Johnny says he has seen it all and MxM has it. MxM then say they are the gift that keeps on giving, but those words are the true gift. Johnny then says if they ever want to collaborate they should find him and Johnny leaves. Mansoor then comments on Johnny’s ability to make an exit before the two of them leave from the bottom of the frame.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with both men locking up. Taylor then nails Strong in the gut and hits him with big rights. We then see MJF watching the action. Taylor then picks up Strong and chops him hard in the chest. Strong then fires back, but Taylor comes back and nails Strong with a big elbow. Strong then sends Taylor to the floor. Taylor then goes back in the ring as Strong leaps up. Taylor then hits Strong with a shoulder breaker. Strong then makes his way back up as Taylor hits him. Taylor then picks up Strong and sends him across the ring. Taylor then picks up Strong and sends him across the ring again. Strong then gets Taylor up as Taylor charges at him. Taylor then hits Strong with a running knee. Strong then kicks Taylor in the face. Taylor then headbutts Strong, sending him to the apron. Taylor then goes for a big leg drop, but Strong moves out of the way. Taylor then goes to the floor and Strong nails Taylor. Strong then follows Taylor and hits him with several flying forearm shots. Strong then tries to pick up Taylor, but Taylor pushes him. Strong then comes back and picks up Taylor, then drops him. Strong then covers Taylor for only a two count. Taylor then nails Strong with a punch and then picks him up and slams him down. Taylor then covers Strong, but Strong kicks out at two. Taylor then picks up Strong and punches him again. Taylor then picks up Strong, but Strong comes back with a huge knee lift on Taylor right in the face. Strong then covers Taylor for the win.

We then get the entrances of the main event of the night, which is an AEW Women’s World Championship Match.
The match starts off with both women locking up. Both women then slap each other. Jay then applies a headlock on May and sends her down. Jay then grabs May and puts her in a headlock, sending her down to the mat again. May then reverses it and applies a headlock on Jay. Jay then hits May with a swinging neck breaker. Jay then goes for a cover the champ, but May kicks out at two. May then fires back and nails Jay with repeated shots to the head. May then slaps Jay and sends her to the mat back first. As Jay gets up, May slams her down again. May then applies a sleeper on Jay as she fight back, breaking the hold. May then fires back and takes down Jay. May then covers Jay for only a two count. May then stomps on the back of Jay and kicks her. May then covers Jay, but Jay kicks out at two. May then applies a headlock again on Jay as the referee check on her.
Jay then fires back and nails May with big right hands. Jay then sends May to the corner and runs the ropes and drops May with a big drop kick. May then rolls up Jay for only a two count. Jay then rolls up May, but May kicks out. Jay then hits May with a backstabber and covers May, but May kicks out at two. Jay then hits May with a spinning leg whip. Both women are up on the top rope and Jay drops off the ropes. May then comes down and hits Jay with a big shotgun drop kick. May then covers Jay, but Jay kicks out at two. May then picks up Jay and headbutts her. May then covers Jay for only a two count. Jay then recovers, but May fires back. Jay then comes back and headbutts May in the mid-section. Jay is up on the second rope and comes down on May. Jay then covers May, but May won’t stay down. Jay then applies the Queenslayer on May. The referee then checks on May. May then tries to make it to the ropes. May then flips over and tries to pin Jay, but Jay kicks out. May then rolls up Jay for the win.
The winner and still the AEW Women’s World Champion, “The Glamour” Mariah May!
After the match, May poses with her title as Jay looks on. May then puts her hand out to Jay, but then pulls it back and leaves the ring. May then celebrates on the floor similar to Toni Storm and the show comes to a close.
