Umaga’s son, Zilla Fatu, has been making a name for himself in independent wrestling, particularly in Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion. As part of the famous Bloodline family, Zilla’s future looks promising. In fact, he has also expressed interest in facing off against John Cena during his retirement tour.

John Cena already announced that he will be part of WWE RAW’s transition to Netflix. He also revealed that his final wrestling appearances will be at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania in 2025. Rather than having one retirement match, Cena will go on a farewell tour in 2025, with several matches leading up to his in-ring retirement in December 2025.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Zilla Fatu expressed how much he would love the chance to wrestle John Cena. Having met Cena multiple times, Zilla sees competing against him as an incredible opportunity and something that would be a huge milestone in his wrestling career. He views Cena as a legendary figure and future Hall of Famer, and believes facing him would be an amazing accomplishment to add to his resume.

“I have met John Cena before, plenty of times. I would love to wrestle John Cena. Who wouldn’t? Just to have the bragging rights to say you wrestled John Cena. I think that’s dope. I don’t care if I — Well, nah, I do care if I win. But he’s a legend, definitely a Hall of Famer. So, I would love to put him on my resume, for sure.”

Nonetheless, it remains to be seen whether Zilla Fatu will make his way to WWE and get a chance to square off against the Leader of Cenation, as Fatu certainly believes he is destined to be in WWE one day.
