WWE has a lot happening, with their roster set to be in Saudi Arabia on November 2 for Crown Jewel. Because of this, the November 1 episode of SmackDown needed to be pre-taped. While spoilers are available, the show still promises some moments worth watching.

When WWE travels, they often film content in advance. Fans attending live events get to see matches and in-ring segments, but backstage segments remain unseen. These segments are kept from the live crowd for a reason.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select noted that several segments were filmed without an audience. This means even those who know the spoilers for November 1 SmackDown can expect surprises.

One segment WWE filmed includes Halloween Costume skits at SmackDown on October 25. How these skits fit into the show remains to be seen, but they might air this week as fans gear up for Crown Jewel.

It is also always possible that WWE may have some finishing touches for Crown Jewel planned for SmackDown that they want to keep under wraps until the blue brand show airs. Only time will tell what else they have prepared, because they may also set the stage for their November 7 episode of SmackDown, which will be a live show once again.
