Torrie Wilson was one of the women who blazed a trail for those female Superstars today, and she remains one of the most beloved in the industry. She isn’t necessarily involved in pro wrestling much these days, but it appears she recently underwent thumb surgery and it went well.
Since leaving WWE, Torrie Wilson has stayed active in the fitness world and keeps her fans updated on social media. Recently, she took to her Instagram story and revealed that she had to have surgery on her thumb. Wilson shared that the surgery went well, but she experienced a lot of pain afterwards.
Despite the successful surgery, Wilson later updated her followers about the pain relief medication she received, which didn’t help much. Because of the pain, doctors decided to give her a nerve block and she can’t feel her arm or her finger whatsoever. She will need to keep the cast on until her thumb has fully healed.
“I don’t know if anyone out there had thumb surgery but evidently it involves a little bit more than your thumbs because I got a full-on cast going on right now. The pain was real, so real in fact that whatever they pumped through my veins was not working so they gave me a nerve block. I can’t feel my arm, I can’t lift my arm, I can’t feel my finger. I might also that I am so beyond blessed to be living in Florida and living near a hospital that’s badass.”
This isn’t the only surgery Torrie Wilson had this year as she underwent eye surgery as well. Regardless, fans are relieved that the surgery went well and they are sure Wilson will recover as soon as possible.
