Liv Morgan Credits Hooters Job for Introducing Her to Embracing Her Sexuality

Liv Morgan is the Women’s World Champion and is becoming more popular every week, especially because of her relationship with Dominik Mysterio. Before joining WWE, she had a humble start working at Hooters, and she credits her job there for helping her embrace her sexuality.

Liv Morgan’s journey to becoming a WWE Superstar almost stayed a dream if not for her time working behind the bar at Hooters. Morgan even revealed how a wrestler helped her land a job in WWE while she worked at Hooters and obviously, joining WWE turned her life around in a way she never could have imagined.

While speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Liv Morgan revealed that working at Hooters was the introduction to her embracing her sexuality as it opened her mind to new ideas. When she started in WWE, she dressed very modestly, wearing pants and a crop top that covered her completely. She thought this was the way she wanted to present herself because she wanted her work to be what people focused on.

As time went on, she got feedback that she needed to show a more grown-up side. Although she was nervous about this change, she eventually started wearing more revealing outfits. This change made her feel powerful and helped her explore her sexuality more. She realized that being modest was holding her back from expressing herself and now she sees the strength in embracing her sexuality and believes that when people say women are in charge, they really mean it.

“I definitely think Hooters was my introduction to embracing my sexuality. It opened my mind to it more. When I started my career in WWE, I was very modest; I wore pants and a crop top that covered me completely. I always thought that this was how I wanted to be presented. I could go the other way, but I wanted to be modest because I wanted my work to speak for itself.

Over the years, though, they told me, ‘You need to let Liv grow up a little bit,’ and I was apprehensive because I knew what that meant. After I started dressing a little more scandalously, I found power in the sexualization of it all. It definitely opened my mind to my sexuality because I was previously modest and didn’t want to be viewed in that way. Now, I see it differently; it’s totally a power. When they say women run this s***, they really mean it.”

Liv Morgan also revealed her secret go-to menu at Hooters, which was grilled nuggets with peppers, onions, and mushrooms, which the kitchen would sauté and serve in a bowl. Nonetheless, Liv Morgan is more than happy about her time at Hooters and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
