Otis and Tucker of Heavy Machinery were once one of the most popular tag teams in all of WWE, but that’s all in the past now as Otis remains a fixture of WWE television while it appears Tucker has retired from professional wrestling for good.
The duo captured hearts from 2016 to 2020 with their unique chemistry and hard-hitting style. However, the partnership came to a shocking end when Tucker betrayed Otis at Hell in a Cell 2020, causing Otis to lose his coveted Money in the Bank briefcase. Less than a year later, Tucker was released from WWE.
Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling took to Twitter and revealed from his recent conversation with Tucker that the ex-WWE star has retired. Tucker confirmed he has retired from professional wrestling with no plans to return. Currently, he’s focused on his role as a high school wrestling coach and spending time raising his two kids. Best wishes were extended to him in this new chapter.
“I just spoke with former WWE star Tucker of fka Heavy Machinery. He said that he has retired from professional wrestling and does not plan to return. He currently is a high school wrestling coach & raising his two kids. Best wishes.”
After his WWE release, Tucker, wrestling under his real name, Levi Cooper, took on a few matches with DEFY Wrestling over the next two years. His final match was on June 24, 2023, and now he will never return to pro wrestling again and fans will simply have to accept that fact.
