The October 30, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite promises to be an exciting event from start to finish as it will build towards the company’s next pay-per-view, Full Gear, which will take place next month.
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Adam Page boasted about taking Austin Gunn out of action, which led to an immediate attack from Colten Gunn. The rest of the Bang Bang Gang rushed in to help Gunn and Page had no choice but to retreat. This week on Fright Night Dynamite, we’ll hear from Hangman Adam Page and fans can expect him to continue his feud with Jay White heading into Full Gear.
After Kamille’s win last week, Kris Statlander confronted her in the ring. Mercedes Mone tried to attack Statlander from behind but failed, giving Kamille the chance to hit Statlander with a neckbreaker to end the fight. Kamille, who is undefeated in AEW so far, will face Kris Statlander in the ring this week and the match is expected to be an absolute slobber knocker.
At the end of last week’s AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley’s group attacked Chuck Taylor in the ring. They placed a chair around his neck and stomped on it. Just then, a frustrated Orange Cassidy rushed to the ring, but he arrived too late to stop the attack and Cassidy was clearly frustrated. He is set to appear on Dynamite this week and fans can expect his reaction to The Blackpool Combat Club’s heinous assault on Chuck Taylor.
Adam Cole made a strong return at WrestleDream and immediately targeted MJF. Last week, he reunited with the Undisputed Kingdom, hinting at a possible match at AEW Full Gear. Buddy Matthews confronted Cole backstage, challenging him to a match for Fright Night Dynamite, which Cole accepted. This will be Cole’s first match in nearly fourteen months, so fans are hoping he will be able to have a good match.
Swerve Strickland made a triumphant return to Tacoma at WrestleDream and was offered a spot in MVP’s group, The Hurt Syndicate, but he turned it down to stay loyal to Prince Nana. This decision sparked a confrontation with Shelton Benjamin, who has had impressive wins recently. Their match is set for this week’s show and it will be Strickland’s first match since AEW All Out in early September. Therefore, we’ll have to see how he will fare against the highly dangerous Shelton Benjamin.
Private Party came close to winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships from the Young Bucks at WrestleDream. Their near victory motivated them to ask for a rematch, which the Young Bucks initially refused. However, after Private Party scored a pin over the Bucks in a Trios Match last week, Zay proposed a high-stakes rematch. If Private Party loses, they will break up forever. The match was then made official for Dynamite this week and clearly, there is a lot at stake in the bout, so fans wonder who will come out on top in the end.
