It’s Tuesday night and you know what that means! The post-NXT Halloween Havoc episode of WWE NXT will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the October 29, 2024 episode.
WWE NXT will start this week at 8:00 PM EST as always, match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below. You can check out the lineup below.
The show opens up with a video package recapping this past Sunday night’s NXT Halloween Havoc PLE, but that is suddenly stopped by Tatum Paxley as she is shown pushing a casket. Paxley says the highlights will have to wait. Paxley then says now is time for the first-ever women’s Casket Match. Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show as Paxley pushes the casket down to the ring. Wendy Choo then makes her way down to the ring, bringing a bed along with her and the first match of the night is underway.
The match starts off with Paxley hitting a dropkick on Choo. Choo then responds with a clothesline, but Paxley kips up and hits an enzuigiri on Choo. Paxley then sends Choo onto the apron and looks to hit a German suplex on her into the casket, but Choo escapes and hits a kick on Paxley on the outside. Choo then looks to hit Paxley with a garbage can, but Paxley takes it from Choo and places it over her head. Paxley then grabs a broom from under the ring and hits Choo with it repeatedly, then sends her back in the ring along with the garbage can and follows her back inside. Paxley then sets up the garbage can in the corner, then hits a crossbody on Choo in the opposite corner and gets her up on her shoulders. Paxley then sends Choo crashing into the mat and charges at her looking to send her crashing into the trash can, but Choo sees Paxley coming and Paxley is sent crashing into the garbage can. Choo then places Paxley in the garbage can as she hangs off the top rope by her knees, then hits a dropkick on her. Choo then looks to send Paxley cashing through a dollhouse set up in the corner. Paxley then stops her own momentum and looks to send Choo crashing through it instead, but Choo manages to hit a hip toss on Paxley through the dollhouse. Choo then closes the casket, but her pillow blocks it from fully being closed. Paxley then escapes using the pillow, but Choo hits Paxley with it and opens it up to reveal several pieces of Lego. Choo then sends Paxley crashing on top of them and sends her into the casket, then looks to close the casket. Paxley then prevents Choo from doing so, but Choo flies off the apron with a senton and locks them both inside. Both Paxley and Choo both rise from the casket, but Paxley sprays a fire extinguisher on Choo’s face and sends her crashing through the bed she had brought down to the ring. Paxley then gets Choo in the casket and closes it for the win.
The winner of the Casket Match, Tatum Paxley!

WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams then makes his way down to the ring to address the NXT Universe. Trick Williams starts off by saying he walked through the Devil’s Playground to retain the NXT Championship against Ethan Page. Williams then admits to being sore, but addresses Ridge Holland attacking him after his defense. Williams then calls WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley down to the ring. Bubba Ray then makes his way out and Williams thanks him for his help at Halloween Havoc. Bubba Ray then tells Williams that a thanks isn’t necessary and says the reason he appeared was due to Holland’s disrespect. Bubba Ray then says he watched Williams in his Devil’s Playground Match and hear the people cheer for him, but as he was getting beat down by Holland, he was looking at the entryway for someone to help him. Bubba Ray then tells Williams he needs to have eyes in the back of his head and Williams says while he hears what Bubba Ray is saying, he wants revenge on Ethan Page and Holland. Williams then proposes teaming with Bubba Ray to take on Page and Holland next week at the 2300 Arena and after some consideration, Bubba Ray declines to take the spot of someone else in the NXT locker room. Bubba Ray then walks away with the crowd chanting “You Still Got It.”
NXT General Manager Ava is then shown watching the segment alongside WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam. RVD says Bubba might not want to be on the show next week, but he does. Ava then says she’ll figure out what RVD can do next week. After RVD leaves, Kelani Jordan walks up to Ava and asks for a one-on-one rematch for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Nikkita Lyons then shows up and says Jordan needs to fight her way back to the title. Jordan then says she’ll even go through Lyons if she has to to get her title back.
Lexis King and William Regal then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
We then see Shawn Spears coaching Brooks Jensen in going after the NXT North American Championship. They then approach Tony D’Angelo. ZARIA then hits Reece with a forearm and sends her crashing into the mat. Reece then shows the referee her hyperextended arm, but ZARIA pops it back in place and delivers some shoulders on her midsection. ZARIA then hits a splash and backbreaker on Reece before she hits a German suplex, a spear and an F5 for the win.
