The Survivor Series Premium Live Event is set to take place at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on November 30, and there are a lot of major storylines that will likely culminate at the event next month. Regarding the main event of the show, it appears WWE is going above and beyond to subvert expectations for the match.

During the October 28 edition of WWE Raw, Sami Zayn talked to Jey Uso backstage after Jey shared his plan to go on SmackDown to make peace with Roman Reigns. Worried for him, Zayn questioned Jey’s choice to forgive his old Bloodline family, warning him not to bring back past issues.

But Jey brushed off Zayn’s worries, saying, “You wouldn’t understand. You’re not family.” This comment left Zayn visibly upset, showing he still feels hurt from his own time with The Bloodline. What made things even more interesting was the fact that Zayn was caught talking to Solo Sikoa towards the end of the show, where Jimmy Uso pointed out how Jey Uso couldn’t trust Zayn at all.

Naturally, this made fans doubt Sami Zayn would even join The Bloodline in their feud against Solo Sikoa. Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about WWE’s direction for the Survivor Series main event following the events on RAW. Meltzer believes the final team for WarGames will likely include The Usos, Roman Reigns, and Sami Zayn, and he’s confident that this will be the outcome. However, he mentioned that WWE is trying to lead fans to believe that things could go in a different direction.

“I have figured it’s going to be The Usos, Roman and Sami Zayn as the team in WarGames and I still think that’s probably what it’s going to be but they did everything they could to try to tell you “this is not what it’s going to be.”

With tensions clearly rising between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso, it remains to be seen whether The Underdog from the Underground will end up siding with The Original Bloodline for Survivor Series next month, as a lot of things could happen in the coming weeks.
