It’s official—Bully Ray and NXT Champion Trick Williams will team up for a high-stakes tag match against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland on the November 6th edition of NXT, live from the iconic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The match was set in motion during the October 29th episode of NXT. Bully Ray appeared to offer Williams some hard truths, explaining that no one stepped in to help him during the Halloween Havoc attack because, as champion, he now carries a target on his back. Appreciative of Ray’s support, Williams pitched the idea of the two forming a tag team for a match against Holland and Page.

At first, Bully turned down the offer, saying, “It’s not about me. I’m not here to take anyone’s spot.” But the situation escalated later in the night when Ridge Holland and Ethan Page took to the ring, gloating about Bully’s refusal to fight. Holland taunted, “Bully made the smart move by staying out.”

That’s when Bully stormed out, exchanged trash talk with Holland, and threw a punch at him. Page ambushed Bully from behind, but Williams was quick to hit the ring and make the save. Fired up by the moment, Bully grabbed a microphone and announced, “I’m in.”
