Bubba Ray Dudley Rejects Match For 2300 Arena Episode During 10/29 NXT

WWE’s NXT brand presented Halloween Havoc on Saturday, and that was quite a show. It all ended with Bubba Ray Dudley making his way to the ring to run off Ridge Holland and Ethan Page. This week on NXT, Dudley had another chance to speak on the matter.

Trick Williams invited Bubba Ray Dudley to the ring, and he admitted that one of the big reasons was how Ridge Holland disrespected him and his Busted Open show. Then he paid homage to Trick Williams, and how he was impressed by fans chanting “Whoop That Trick.” That is when Bubba pointed out that nobody came to Trick Williams’ aid during the beatdown at the end of Halloween Havoc.

Bubba Ray Dudley said that Trick Williams’ status of NXT Champion was the reason why nobody ran down to help him at Halloween Havoc. Then he told Trick to have eyes in the back of his head. Trick said he’s listening to Bubba, but he wants revenge.

Then Trick Williams said that he wants a tag team match during the November 6 NXT at the 2300 Arena. It will be Trick and Bubba Ray Dudley against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland.

Bubba said that he’s only known Trick Williams for about three minutes, but his juices were flowing. He got Bubba thinking about taking things to the extreme, and then he busted out his old school glasses. The crowd was all about it, and they even yelled “get the tables” on cue.

Bubba Ray Dudley said that it’s not about him, it’s about Trick Williams and every other wrestler in the locker room who does it better than anyone else. Then he said that he can’t do the match before leaving the ring.

Later on in the show, Bubba Ray showed up again, and he got in Ridge Holland’s face, telling him that he’s been smartened up to who he is. Then Ridge called Bubba just a radio host. He called him a nostalgia act and threatened Bubba once more, and then Bubba hit Ridge. Ethan Page jumped Bubba, and then Trick Williams ran down to save him. Bubba Ray fought Ethan Page off, and then Bubba accepted that tag team match for the November 6 episode.
