John “Bradshaw” Layfield has big plans for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. After recently becoming one of the primary investors in the renowned Mexican wrestling promotion, JBL is setting the stage for what he promises will be a monumental shift in the wrestling world.
Following his appearance at Triplemania XXXII on August 17, where he escorted Nic Nemeth (formerly Dolph Ziggler) to the ring, JBL took to Twitter/X on October 27 to share his bold vision for AAA.
“As part of the new ownership team for the most famous wrestling organization in Mexican history, Triple AAA @luchalibreaaa – it’s going to be a global takeover. We are going to make Mexico great. I’m everywhere? Not yet, but I will be.”
JBL’s tweet indicates that he has ambitious plans not only for the Mexican wrestling scene but also for taking AAA to new global heights.
JBL’s involvement with AAA follows his recent appearance at TNA Bound For Glory on October 26, where he interfered in the world title match, further solidifying his return to the wrestling spotlight. Layfield has also been hinting that the next few weeks will be “fun,” teasing more surprises to come across different promotions.
With JBL’s involvement and bold claims of a global takeover, the wrestling world is paying close attention. AAA’s expansion plans could reshape the landscape of international wrestling, bringing Mexico’s beloved promotion to new markets and audiences worldwide.
