TNA Wrestling continued their momentum after Bound for Glory 2024, but the night took an unfortunate turn with an unexpected injury. A star who shone brightly during Saturday’s pay-per-view may now be sidelined due to an injury.

At Bound for Glory 2024, Mike Bailey defeated El Hijo del Vikingo in a singles match to retain the TNA X Division Championship. The match received praise from fans, and Vikingo aimed to deliver another impressive performance, but things did not go as planned for the taping event for their October 31 episode.

During the October 27 TNA television tapings, El Hijo del Vikingo faced Trent Seven in a technical match, showcasing his signature ropewalk into a backflip. However, the match was abruptly halted when the referee signaled for medical assistance, and Vikingo was stretchered out.

Tommy Dreamer and several others rushed to help Vikingo, and the situation appeared to be legitimate rather than part of the show. The severity of Vikingo’s injury is still unknown.
