A long-running mystery in WWE was finally solved at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, as Tatum Paxley reappeared in dramatic fashion, demanding an immediate match against the person responsible for her disappearance — Wendy Choo.

The shocking reveal happened just before Ethan Page faced Trick Williams for the NXT World Championship in a Devil’s Playground match. As Vic Joseph and Booker T previewed the match’s weapons and props, Booker T stood in a cemetery-themed setup when a nearby road case suddenly burst open.

Out of the case came Tatum Paxley, who had been missing for weeks. Her mysterious disappearance began when Wendy Choo seemingly abducted her, shoving her into the same road case and wheeling her away during a previous NXT episode.

With NXT General Manager Ava rushing to the scene, trying to escort Paxley to the medical team, Paxley had other plans. Ignoring Ava’s concerns, she stormed to the entrance ramp and demanded a match against Wendy Choo, clearly eager to settle the score.

In a fitting Halloween Havoc twist, Paxley spun the event’s infamous wheel of stipulations, which landed on a Casket Match. Paxley celebrated the outcome, thrilled at the opportunity to face Choo in one of WWE’s spookiest match types.

Halloween Havoc 2024 has been full of surprises, with new champions and unexpected returns dominating the night. Earlier in the evening, Fallon Henley emerged victorious in a grueling gauntlet match to claim the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Henley defeated Kelani Jordan in the final round after Jordan overcame Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne.

However, the celebration was short-lived. Zaria made a surprise appearance, attacking all three members of Pure Fusion Collective, leaving chaos in her wake and setting the stage for future confrontations.

With Tatum Paxley back and seeking revenge, Wendy Choo might have more trouble than she anticipated heading into their newly announced Casket Match.
