Samantha Irvin was one of the best parts of WWE programming for some fans. Then she shocked everyone when she departed from the company and Lilian Garcia took her spot once again. This was a move that surprised a lot of fans, but Irvin was never about the fame.

In the message to announce her WWE departure, Samantha Irvin wrote, “WWE Universe, my time has come to an end as your Monday Night Raw Ring Announcer. I love you all tremendously and this does not mark the end of my art—I have a lifetime more to share.”

Samantha Irvin has since said that she didn’t like announcing for WWE. She did clarify that comment, and that sparked a lot of discussion on the matter as well.

Some fans are having a hard time accepting the fact that Samantha Irvin left WWE. One fan tweeted out to say that Irvin, “just comes off as ungrateful to the business that made her famous after flaking out on AGT. We all know she’s going to AEW anyway, so why bullsh*t about it?”

Samantha Irvin saw this tweet, and she fired back to make it clear that she was never about being famous. She wants to create art. She does love pro wrestling, but also made it clear that she believes this fan believes that the “business” he’s talking about is simply announcing and doesn’t apply to anything else.

“I don’t care about being famous. I care about making art. I love wrestling so I’m assuming you mean the announcing business lol.”

We will have to see what Samantha Irvin does next. Ricochet tried to make it clear that his fiancé is not going to AEW. Only time will tell if she ends up making him regret that tweet.

Many people reacted to Samantha Irvin’s decision to depart from WWE. Michael Buffer, who praised Irvin’s WrestleMania 40 performance, also threw in his two cents.

In the meantime, Lilian Garcia will be the voice on RAW once again as she announces Superstars on their way to the ring. Her return may have started off with a bit of a rocky road, but she is getting her feet back under her, because that is now her full-time gig once again. As for Samantha Irvin, she will keep making her art, wherever she wants to.
