TNA Bound for Glory 2024, held at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan, brought another exciting moment in TNA’s comeback. One of the biggest surprises of the night happened after the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship match, when the unexpected team of Wendy Choo and Rosemary suddenly split up in a dramatic way.
Wendy Choo, representing NXT, teamed up with her new TNA partner, Rosemary, to try to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles from Spitfire. Their entrance was eerie, with red lights filling the arena, hinting at their strange pairing. This was a big moment for Wendy Choo, as she could have been the first WWE Superstar to win a TNA title—but things didn’t go as planned.
During the match, Rosemary and Choo got their signals crossed. Rosemary accidentally hit Choo, which gave Jody Threat the chance to attack with a powerful double knee strike and double German suplex. Right after, Spitfire used their Pressure Drop move to win and keep their titles.
After the match, there was a surprising twist—Rosemary suddenly turned on Wendy Choo and speared her, ending their partnership. The crowd was shocked as Rosemary walked away, leaving Choo behind and showing that their unusual team was over as fast as it started.
TNA Wrestling took to its official Twitter account and uploaded a video of Rosemary after betraying Wendy Choo. Rosemary kept it short by violent, as she made it clear that she never needed Wendy Choo in the first place before storming off.
”What? WHAT? WHAT WENDY? You think we need you? [Laughs] You think we need you, you think we need you?!”
We will have to wait and see whether Rosemary and Wendy Choo will now begin feuding on NXT and TNA television in the coming weeks, as it’s quite clear that the two are not done with each other.
