TNA Wrestling’s Bound for Glory 2024 took place at the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan, and it was quite a show. Then, during the pivotal main event Full Metal Mayhem main event match, things just went off.
The Hardys were in a Full Metal Mayhem match, facing The System and ABC, with their pursuit of another title creating high interest. The match took place in a ring covered with Jeff Hardy’s artwork, from tables to ladders and chairs. This match had a lot going for it.
The match began with fast-paced action, as ABC performed dives outside the ring and The Hardys used painted chairs against The System. Brian Myers was placed on a table, leading to Ace Austin’s splash from the stands, while Matt Hardy hit a leg drop through a painted table. Chris Bey took a Plot Twist from The Hardys, and they began climbing toward the titles until Ace Austin interrupted their attempt.
As the teams continued to battle, Jeff Hardy extended a ladder across the ring, and he and Ace Austin fought atop it. Despite efforts from both sides, Austin and Chris Bey failed to secure the titles. The match concluded with more exchanges between the competitors, leaving the result uncertain until the final moments.
Suddenly, the pay-per-view feed died out for fans watching at home. Those watching on the Triller feed were very disappointed, because it just stopped. This match continued for a couple of minutes, and many fans got discouraged and logged off. They assumed that they wouldn’t get to see how the event ended.
The Bound For Glory event had been on for three hours and five minutes at that point, and then it stopped. After a bit of dead air, the feed did return without sound. Then sound returned after a bit of watching, but this was certainly not a susprise that anyone wanted to see during the main event.
We will keep our eyes on this event for any more updates. It was a packed pay-per-view, and that feed picked a very bad moment to suddenly cut off during the main event match.
