TNA Wrestling has been gaining even more attention lately, and Bound for Glory 2024 delivered a lot for fans to enjoy. The event took place at the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan, and even the preshow kicked things off with a major match.

During the Bound for Glory 2024 preshow, the Call Your Shot Gauntlet featured competitors like Frankie Kazarian, AJ Francis, Sami Callihan, Laredo Kid, Jake Something, Jason Hotch, and more participants yet to be announced. Frankie Kazarian entered first, while AJ Francis was the final entrant.

The Call Your Shot Gauntlet is a variation of the Gauntlet for the Gold, but with a twist, as it is an intergender wrestling. This means that either a man or a woman can win by pinfall or submission. The winner of the gauntlet earns a future title shot of their choice and receives a trophy as part of their prize, with the stipulation that they have one year to cash in on their title shot.

Frankie Kazarian kicked off the match, with Zachary Wentz joining as the second entrant. After that, new participants entered the gauntlet every two minutes. Jake Something came in next, and that slowed things down a bit as they continued, but Trey Miguel coming in fourth really helped pick things up.

Hammerstone entered the match next, and that was good for Jake Something to have his tag team partner in the match. Rohit Raju entered next, and he was followed by Laredo Kid. Then Sami Callihan joined the match to shake things up.

John Skyler came into the match next, and it just so happened to be his birthday. That didn’t help him in this match, but it was mentioned on commentary. This match kept going as everyone fought to eliminate each other.

Trent Seven received a great ovation when he entered the match. TNA Hall of Famer Rhino joined the match later, and that was great to see. He also cleared a few people out of the match right away. Tasha Steelz was the first woman to join the match, as she didn’t back away from the challenge.

Jonathan Gresham entered the match in the 18th spot, and the match was still heating up. AJ Francis was the final competitor to enter the match, and the ring was quite full. They continued battling until they were left with only two.

Francis eliminated a lot of people, and it was all down to Rhino and Frankie Kazarian. AJ Francis was eliminated in the 3rd spot by Rhino, and he wasn’t happy about that. In the end, Kaz nailed a low blow and got the win. This was a controversial win, but Kaz got the win, and now he has a guaranteed title match.
