Dominik Mysterio Claims Kissing Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam Was Unscripted

Despite having wrestled for just over four years, Dominik Mysterio has made a significant impact in his career, earning multiple championship titles and creating memorable moments at WrestleMania. Since turning heel, he has become one of the biggest eels in the company.

After turning heel, Mysterio was closely associated with Rhea Ripley for nearly two years. However, he was drawn away by Liv Morgan, whose storyline involved multiple on-screen kisses and intimate situations. One of the most shocking moments took place at SummerSlam, where Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley and kissed Liv Morgan.

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Dominik Mysterio clarified that while he had a general idea of what he would do and likely informed Liv Morgan, most people in WWE were unaware of his intentions.

Dominik explained that he didn’t even know he would grab Morgan’s face until it happened in the moment. He made the decision to kiss her just a couple of hours prior, keeping it a secret from everyone else. Balor had a slight idea, but for the most part, it was not something he had been thinking about until it happened.

“No, I had no idea. I didn’t even know I was going to grab her face. I was just kinda in the moment kind of deal. Honestly, I didn’t even know I was going to kiss her until like probably two hours prior. Just a personal decision. Because I didn’t want anyone to know, Finn kinda had an idea of it. But yeah, I wasn’t. I wasn’t kind of thinking about it at all, and then it kind of just happened.”

Dominik Mysterio even revealed how his wife was very understanding about the kissing as well. Nonetheless, Mysterio made it clear he can take charge when necessary in order to enhance the storyline and that’s all that matters in the end.
