WWE SmackDown Spoiler (10/25) Results:

Orton opened the show with a heated promo after having words with Triple H backstage at Gorilla. Once in the ring, Orton expressed his frustration about not being allowed to face Kevin Owens, saying Nick Aldis told him the decision was above his pay grade. Orton then demanded that Triple H join him in the ring.

Triple H obliged, leading to a tense exchange. Orton accused HHH of shielding Owens, but HHH denied it, insisting the match won’t happen to protect Orton from further injury. He reminded Orton that Owens had once been ruthless in the ring but had grown disillusioned, feeling betrayed by Cody Rhodes and Orton. Triple H stressed that he doesn’t want to see Orton sidelined again after just returning from injury.

Orton pressed harder, saying he didn’t call out Paul Levesque—he called out The Game. He pleaded with HHH to make the match happen, knowing the stakes for him personally and how devastating it feels to have a career taken away. After a brief moment of reflection, HHH gave in and made the match official for Crown Jewel.

LA Knight then came out, announcing he will serve as the special guest referee for the showdown.

Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes

Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes ended in a no contest after LA Knight laid both men out. The chaos started when Hayes accidentally superkicked Knight while aiming for Andrade. After taking them both down, Knight declared himself still the champion.

Later, Nia Jax informed Tiffany Stratton that she arranged for Candice LeRae to take on Naomi on her behalf.

Candice LaRae with Indi Hartwell vs. Naomi

Naomi defeated Candice LeRae with a pinfall victory. After the match, Indi Hartwell attacked Naomi, driving her into the ring post. However, Bayley rushed out to make the save, fending off Hartwell.

Lin-Manuel Miranda was spotted sitting in the front row, enjoying the action up close.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER had an intense face-off in the ring. GUNTHER accused Cody of overdramatizing everything and confidently declared himself the greatest pro wrestler in WWE today, stating that his goal is to win in order to meet his own high standards.

GUNTHER then pressed Cody, asking what he truly wants. Cody scoffed, calling it the stupidest question he’s ever been asked. He firmly stated that what he wants is to be there for the fans, honoring the legacies of Dusty Rhodes and John Cena.

Cody Rhodes added that his fans are proud to embrace the drama, taking a shot at GUNTHER by asking where he was the previous day. Cody revealed that he was in Las Vegas, doing media rounds, while GUNTHER couldn’t even be bothered to get out of bed for the same responsibilities. Cody criticized him, saying that GUNTHER is missing a crucial part of the job: responsibility.

GUNTHER fired back, asserting that he understands responsibility perfectly. He declared himself the workhorse of the company, handling the same demands Cody faces — except he has the guts to say no when needed.

GUNTHER taunted Cody, saying he has no choice but to say yes to everything because the moment he says no, his story ends. The two champions traded heated words until Cody finally struck GUNTHER.

This sparked a brawl, with Ludwig Kaiser jumping in to help GUNTHER. They beat down Cody until Randy Orton stormed the ring, making the save and clearing the ring.

A lengthy recap aired, highlighting the ongoing Bloodline storyline involving Jey Uso from this week’s episode of Raw.

WWE announced a tag team match for Crown Jewel, featuring Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs. Damage CTRL vs. Piper Niven & Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson.

Motor City Machine Guns vs. DIY

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated DIY in a hard-fought match. After the win, The Bloodline made their way to the ring to confront the newly crowned top contenders. Tensions were high.

Nick Aldis stepped into the ring to separate The Bloodline and the Motor City Machine Guns as tensions escalated. The Brooklyn crowd was all over Solo Sikoa, who demanded they acknowledge him. He then welcomed the Guns to SmackDown.

Chris Sabin confidently responded, saying they were ready to challenge for the tag team titles anytime, anywhere. Solo immediately offered them the title match on the spot. Aldis, however, reminded everyone that the Guns have spent 20 years giving everything to professional wrestling and deserved a fair opportunity.

Despite Aldis’ concerns, the Guns insisted the belts meant everything to them and accepted the challenge right away. The bell rang, and the match began.

In a stunning turn of events, The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Bloodline to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

The match was wild, with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns getting involved, leading to an all-out brawl with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Amid the chaos, the referee was taken out, and chairs were introduced into the fight. Just when things seemed to spiral out of control, a masked Jey Uso jumped the barricade and entered the fray, helping tip the scales in favor of the Guns. After the chaos settled, Jey and Jimmy Uso embraced while. Roman Reigns looked on. This concluded the tapings for the October 25, 2024 show.
