WWE Superstars face more than just the physical challenges of the ring, because they must also navigate online criticism and the ever-present threat of hackers. In a recent incident, NXT Superstar Brayden Jesse Ray found himself at the center of controversy after a tweet targeting fellow WWE NXT star Karmen Petrovic sparked outrage.
Karmen Petrovic lights up NXT every time she’s in the ring. She has also garnered a lot of attention with her thirst trap posts on social media. As much as she has won over a lot of fans, that apparently wasn’t the case with one fan, even though he said otherwise in the DMs.
Brayden Jesse Ray’s tweet, which read, “@karmen_wwe ain’t even that cute fr fr type sh*t #wwenxt,” was quickly met with backlash. The mean-spirited comment gained attention, but Petrovic wasted no time in responding.
Karmen Petrovic then tweeted a screenshot of a direct message allegedly sent to her by Ray in the past, which featured a photo of WWE icons Sable and Albert in a compromising position. The DM also read, “This could be us, FR FR.” Petrovic’s simple clapback, “This you?” was enough to shut down the criticism, exposing Ray’s previous inappropriate behavior.
However, things took a new twist when Ray claimed his account was hacked. Taking to Instagram, he posted a story stating, “If anyone got any weird DMs from me, my account got hacked!” He followed up with another story suggesting he is considering a defamation lawsuit, potentially seeking legal advice from fellow NXT star Luca Crusifino, who is known for his knowledge of legal matters.
As of now, it remains unclear whether Brayden Jesse Ray was indeed hacked or if this is a defense strategy to mitigate the fallout from his controversial tweet. The situation has raised concerns within the NXT locker room about potential hacking threats, and fans are left wondering if this incident is an isolated case or part of a larger issue.
Stay tuned as this story unfolds. Ringside News will continue to provide updates on any developments, including whether a hacker is ultimately revealed or if further action is taken.
