Cody Rhodes has an incredible talent for connecting with his fans, which has played a major role in his journey to becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion. WrestleMania 41 is still several months away but many rumors have suggested some big matches featuring Cody Rhodes. In light of such rumors, Rhodes has made it clear WWE’s plans won’t align with them.

The anticipation for WrestleMania 41 is already building, as WWE already announced that the next installment of the iconic event will be held in Las Vegas. The event will take place on April 19 and April 20, 2025 at the Allegiant Stadium and the hype is already incredible.

One of the biggest talking points about WrestleMania 41 is WWE’s plans for Cody Rhodes. Reports have suggested that a triple threat match involving Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Rock could happen at WrestleMania 41.

While speaking to The Schmo, Cody Rhodes was asked how he plans to surpass WrestleMania 40. Rhodes stated that WrestleMania is WWE’s Super Bowl, marking both the beginning and end of its calendar year. After completing the story at WrestleMania 40, WWE aims to surpass it in 2025. Rhodes claimed that what happens at WrestleMania 41 won’t align with a lot of the rumors that are floating online, confidently stating it will exceed the scale and impact of WrestleMania 40.

“That’s the question every year with WrestleMania because the goal is always to top the year before. WrestleMania is like our Super Bowl—it’s the beginning and the end of WWE’s calendar year. It’s the start, the reset, everything. With WrestleMania 40, we finished the story, so now going into WrestleMania 41, we have to raise the bar. Here’s what I’ll say without giving too much away: I think what happens at WrestleMania 41 won’t align with a lot of the rumors out there. It’ll be more unexpected and, without a doubt, it will top WrestleMania 40.”

We will have to wait and see what kind of plans WWE will have planned for The American Nightmare and everyone else for that matter, as The Showcase of the Immortals will undoubtedly be a spectacle next year.
