TNA Wrestling is going big with their Bound for Glory press conference this afternoon, streaming live across their digital media platforms at 1:10 PM Eastern from the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit.
TNA Champion Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian, and the legendary Jeff & Matt Hardy are confirmed to be in attendance. Expect plenty of hype and surprises!
The event will be hosted by Gia Miller—so get ready for some must-see moments. Stay tuned for all the action!
TNA Bound for Glory Press Conference
Gia Miller welcomes everyone to the press conference. She jokes about how everyone is happy she is up there and not Josh Matthews. She runs down the card before bringing out Matt and Jeff Hardy, followed by Joe Hendry.
Nic Nemeth is brought out but is interrupted by Kazarian. Matt Hardy mentions that they are happy for Bound for Glory. Matt Hardy is dedicating the Hardy’s match at TNA Bound For Glory to his wife and kids.
Frankie says people are here to hear Joe Hendry, before passing the mic off. Joe Hendry puts over Nic Nemeth as one of the bests before saying there is nothing he can’t do. Hendry vows to leave Bound for Glory as TNA World Champion.
Nic questions if he can follow Joe Hendry’s remarks. Nic says he’s proud of Joe for the year he has had and is thankful for how he has contributed to TNA. Nic says he’s looking forward to the match and hope it’s clean and called down the middle.
Frankie now wants to talk. Frankie puts over Matt and Jeff Hardy. Calls them game changers. Frankie claims he took a six week course at Earl Hebner’s training for a referee. Frankie says we won’t have to worry about any “funny business.” Frankie points out that he’s the only OG TNA talent at the table.
Joe Hendry questions who’s idea it was for Frankie to be special guest referee in his match against Nic. Nic gets back on the mic and tells Frankie he needs to stay out of the way and let Joe and him fight at Bound for Glory. Frankie says he’s in Nic’s head. He reminds everyone that he can call his shot at anytime.
The first question is up from the “press.” The guy cuts a promo before asking if Joe Hendry believes him himself. Second question was asked how Joe stays focused.
Matt Hardy says it’s weird when people label himself and his brother as legends. He says “we believe in TNA.” Matt says the cherry on top will be winning the TNA tag team titles. Jeff Hardy says they need to go out on a high note.
Nic offers advice about showing up and putting in the work at college. Frankie cuts him off and tells the student to give up because college is a work.
Nic says he’s rooting for Joe Hendry but not on Saturday night at Bound for Glory. Nic says for Joe to be in his league, he needs to be a world champion. Joe Hendry questions if Nic needs him as much as Joe needs Nic. Nic says he’s not letting this title go.
Frankie says he has a lot still to prove but he also has a lot to offer.
Jeff Hardy credits the “Macho Man” Randy Savage winning the world title as to the reason why he got into pro wrestling. Jeff credits TNA for always being there for him during the lows in his life. “Pro Wrestling is my claim to fame.”
Nic says he doesn’t focus on the past but he brings up to stay focused. Nic questions if Frankie will call it down the middle but he hopes he does. Joe expresses his concerns for Frankie’s involvement. He calls it an “extreme” decision from management and the only thing he can do is give it his best. Joe says he’s not taking this match lightly and he needs to stay focused. Jeff Hardy answered one final question before the conference ended.
