Shayna Baszler Irritated By Zoey Stark’s Lack Of Marvel Knowledge

WWE stables have to get along, but Pure Fusion Collective may have a bit of a rift. At this point, it also appears that rift came from an unusual place.

In a new video that she posted online, Zoey Stark asked Shayna Baszler if she knows who Gambit is. The Queen of Spades didn’t like this question at all.

Then Sonya Deville joined the discussion, as she asked “who the f*ck is Gambit” This was not what Shayna Baszler wanted to hear at all, and it caused her to storm off in a huff. It might be a good idea for Zoey Stark to brush up on her Marvel knowledge, especially since she has the same last name as Iron Man.

In case you didn’t know, Gambit was an unproduced American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Planned as part of the X-Men film series, the script was written by Josh Zetumer, with the character’s creator, Chris Claremont, actually contributing to the story. Channing Tatum was set to star in the lead role.

The solo Gambit film went through five years in development hell before being canceled after Disney acquired 21st Century Fox. This was a hard pill to swallow, but Tatum eventually portrayed Gambit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he showed up in Deadpool & Wolverine. It seems that Zoey Stark didn’t get the memo.

We will have to see if she clears things up. At this point, it is pretty irritating for Shayna Baszler that her stablemate doesn’t have a hold of the Marvel universe.
