With WrestleMania 41 on the horizon, WWE has no shortage of booking possibilities, especially with the recent return of The Rock. Following Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teaming up at WWE Bad Blood, speculation has been swirling about a potential showdown involving all three megastars. Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, has now addressed these rumors.

Cody Rhodes finished his story at the conclusion of WrestleMania XL, capturing the Undisputed WWE Title. However, the next night on WWE RAW, The Rock made it clear that his story with Cody was just beginning, hinting at a future confrontation. Although Roman Reigns remains heavily involved in the ongoing Bloodline saga, he still has his sights set on reclaiming the WWE Championship.

In an interview with Dayna Roselli on Vegas Revealed, Cody was asked about the growing rumor that he would headline WrestleMania 41 in a triple threat match against Reigns and The Rock. The American Nightmare gave a cryptic yet confident response.

“There are so many rumors circulating. It eats up the social feed, all the different rumors of what the matches might be. The hardest thing to do in WWE, sports entertainment, and pro wrestling in general is not to win [the WWE Title], the hardest thing to do is main event WrestleMania. I don’t care what the rumor is, as long as the rumor is I’m in the main event of WrestleMania. I’m good with it. What I can say for those who keep an eye on the rumor, I bet you what they get at WrestleMania 41 is unexpected even to them… this one is going to be unexpected, is the best way to put it, but in the best of ways.”

The Rock made a surprise appearance at WWE Bad Blood, following Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes’ victory over Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa in the main event. While The Rock’s next move in WWE remains unclear, his involvement has sparked plenty of speculation about where his storyline is headed.

In the meantime, Cody Rhodes is scheduled to defend his title against Gunther at WWE Crown Jewel 2024. As for The Rock, recent reports indicate that he informed WWE he may not be able to compete at WrestleMania 41, leaving his role at the event uncertain.

As always, WWE’s storytelling keeps fans guessing, and while rumors continue to swirl, it seems that whatever is planned for WrestleMania 41 will be full of surprises.
