Shelton Benjamin Blames Vince McMahon for Incriminating Himself in Netflix Documentary

The highly anticipated Mr. McMahon documentary, which was released last month, has captured the attention of wrestling fans. The film delves into Vince McMahon’s controversial life and career, uncovering various details. However, it appears Shelton Benjamin stated that Vince McMahon incriminated himself in the documentary.

The Netflix docuseries on Vince McMahon has created lots of discussions about the former WWE chairman and his controversial actions during his time in power. The series delved into several sensitive issues, including Sable’s sexual harassment case, McMahon’s attempts to defend himself against past assault allegations and also him claiming his mind has several “computers” running at the same time.

While speaking on Gabby AF, Shelton Benjamin stated that he didn’t find anything shocking in Vince McMahon’s Netflix documentary. He mentioned that most of the stories shared were already known to him and didn’t reveal anything new or surprising. While Benjamin avoided discussing any intimate details, he did feel that Vince McMahon occasionally revealed more than necessary. There were moments when McMahon made comments that, according to Benjamin, seemed to give credibility to the negative things being said about him, which could have been avoided with a bit more caution as McMahon simply incriminated himself.

“I watched it, and I didn’t see anything that shocked me. I didn’t—I didn’t see anything that, for me, was, uh, unknown. Like, you know, most of the stories and things people talked about, there was nothing there that I personally found, uh, shocking as far as the stories or anything like that. Now, you start getting into the intimate details—well, I don’t want to get into that messy stuff, because, hey, what people do behind closed doors, right?

But, uh, for the most part, there wasn’t a lot there that made me go, you know—wow. I mean, like everyone else, there were some moments where I felt Vince himself was just kind of showing his hand a bit more than I’m even used to. There were some moments where I was like, ‘Why?’ You know, you were fine, and then you said that. It’s like, ‘Oh, that’s okay.’ Now you’re giving credibility to the negative stuff that’s being said about you with that one little extra comment that might have been left off.”

A former WWE star also claimed that Vince McMahon will be tarred and feathered in a new documentary in the future. Nonetheless, McMahon’s reputation is at an all-time low and the Netflix documentary certainly did him no favors.
