Hulk Hogan’s iconic career most definitely altered the course of professional wrestling in many ways. He also made an appearance at the Republican National Convention earlier this year and has now revealed how Donald Trump’s assassination attempt affected him.

Hulk Hogan is a massive supporter of Donald Trump and this goes back several years. That is why it was no surprise he made an appearance at the Republican National Convention.

In a recent interview with Patrick Bet-David on the PBD Podcast, Hulk Hogan discussed various topics, including the 45th U.S. president, Donald Trump, who is running again as the Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election.

Hogan brought up the assassination attempt on Trump that occurred during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, where Trump was shot and wounded in the ear. Reflecting on this event, Hogan expressed how deeply it affected him. He shared that when he heard about the attack on someone he personally knew, he felt compelled to speak out, even if it meant risking his business. Hogan emphasized that, for him, this situation goes beyond business, seeing it as a “spiritual revolution,” and praised Trump for trying to help people and bring faith back into American homes, schools, and the country.

“When they tried to kill [Donald] Trump, someone that I knew personally, it affected me worse and I sat up off the couch. I said that’s it, this has to stop. I don’t want to split my audience as a businessman, but now I don’t care. This is much more than business, this is a spiritual revolution now. This guy is coming out trying to help people, he wants to help millions of people, he wants to help America have god in our country and our homes and our schools, and I said I can’t handle it.”

Hulk Hogan also sparked controversy recently when he endorsed Trump while talking about traditional gender roles. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see if Hogan’s endorsement will end up helping Donald Trump win the elections next month.
