Taz is a legend in pro wrestling, but he was written off AEW television in sudden fashion. During the October 23 episode of Dynamite, his son, Hook, had an opportunity to confront his father’s attacker.
Hook has done his father proud since his AEW debut. The man won back his father’s title, the FTW Championship, at Grand Slam. Then he retired it back to his father in a touching moment. This week’s Dynamite had another chance for Hook to stand up for his family’s lineage.
Hook made his way to the ring as Christian Cage and his crew were in the ring. He declared that the scumbag who attacked his father was in the ring, and he went after them.
Hook took a Wayne’s World from Nick Wayne to take him out. Hook wanted to get a hold of Christian Cage, but he didn’t get his hands on him. Instead, Cage nailed a Killswitch on Hook onto that guaranteed contract.
Christian then called Hook, “Tyler,” which is his real name. Christian said that “this isn’t what you think it is.” That was quite an ominous statement, and it ended with Hook in the ring after he didn’t get what he wanted.
