Ethan Page lost the NXT Title to Trick Williams during NXT’s October 1 debut on The CW in Chicago and he blames CM Punk for the loss. Page is set to face Williams for the NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc and now he dropped a fiery diss track aimed at Williams ahead of the show.

On the October 15th episode of WWE NXT, Ethan Page triumphed over Je’Von Evans and Wes Lee, earning an opportunity to challenge for the NXT Championship. He is set to face Trick Williams in a Devil’s Playground Match at NXT Halloween Havoc and they have been engaged in numerous bitter confrontations throughout their feud.

Ethan Page took to his YouTube channel and dropped a diss track aimed at Trick Williams. In the song, he jokes about joining a silly trend to promote their fight and insists that his song is original, not just a gimmick. He calls himself the “Plan B pill” for Trick’s “Plan B career.”

“Hey Trick, I’ve got a bit of a treat for you. I’m going to join the cornball wave and make a song to promote a fist fight. The only difference between All Ego and Trick Williams is, I’m not a cosplay rapper. This is an original song. Ethan Page about to be the Plan B pill for your Plan B career.”

The lyrics repeatedly warn Trick that he is coming for him. Page mentions Halloween Havoc, describing it as a chance for him to show off a shiny title that represents his wins. He criticizes Trick, saying his life is built on lies and challenges him to try his best, claiming that Trick will never defeat him. He describes Trick as someone who always says “should have,” “would have,” or “could have,” and predicts he will mess up just like he did in football.

”I heard it’s Halloween Havoc, so I’m saying trick or treat. Shiny title in my bag, that’s for every trick I beat. Your whole life’s been a lie, but you’re not tricking me. Take your best shot, Trick, but you’ll never finish me. You’re a should-have, would-have, could-have from here, about to fumble that belt like your football career. About to drop that strap like the way you dropped the cat. Calling it the main event, but me and you are not a match. When you lay down, better stay down. October 27th got the devil in the playground, but Mr. Williams, I didn’t come to play now. Knock you out cold the first night that I came out, yeah, that’s the night I made you a star.”

Throughout the song, Page emphasizes that he has traveled the world, while Trick is just a “mascot” and not a real star. He finishes by saying he’s better in the ring and in music, and he doubts Trick’s ability to be a true champion, suggesting his title win was only because of CM Punk.

”You see, I’ve been around the world; you just became what you are—a mascot, not the face of a brand. Game over, not it, never began. Let’s talk about it, how I made you gasp and crawl. How your chain and your watches are from a kiosk at the mall. Bet I’m better on the field, and I’ve never caught the ball. I’m better in the booth, and I don’t even rap at all. Yeah, I made NXT cut that check ’cause they were short just to eat. Now, what’s up next? Whoop that era, it’s on one last breath. The only reason you’re the champ is ’cause of a punk-ass ref.”

We will have to wait and see whether Ethan Page will reclaim his NXT Championship at the Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event this week, as fans feel Page has a lot of momentum now heading into the match.
