The animosity between Daniel Garcia and MJF has hit a boiling point, as Garcia continues to make his disdain for the AEW World Champion known. Their rivalry, which ignited at AEW Dynamite Beach Break in July, has evolved into a deeply personal feud with no signs of slowing down.

It all began when MJF betrayed Garcia, leaving him injured and carried out of the arena on a stretcher. Garcia disappeared from television for several weeks but returned with a vengeance at AEW All In, where he cost MJF his AEW International Championship match against Will Ospreay. Though MJF secured a win against Garcia at AEW All Out, Garcia got the last laugh, sending the champion out on a stretcher after the match in a brutal display of payback.

Speaking on Renee Paquette’s Up Close interview series, Garcia didn’t hold back on his thoughts about the AEW World Champion.

“I think Max puts everybody through everything, mentally. Dealing with him is the hardest thing ever. I think he’s a snake. He’s a terrible person. Honestly, I wish him nothing but the worst in his entire life. He is somebody who, if he dropped dead tomorrow, I don’t think a single person in this company would care.”

MJF briefly shifted his attention back to Garcia during AEW WrestleDream, but the return of Adam Cole redirected the champion’s focus. This leaves the question: Will Garcia and MJF’s paths cross again, or is there more chaos brewing between the two?
