Bobby Lashley recently shared his thoughts on the future of WWE giant Omos during a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest. Lashley, who has shared the ring with Omos in the past, believes that the 7-foot-3 star should be utilized more on WWE television but is unsure if the opportunity will come.

Omos has been notably absent from TV screens in 2024, having only participated in two matches this year—the Royal Rumble and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. While he’s continued to compete in WWE live events, his last televised match was in April on SmackDown. Speaking on Omos’ status, Lashley said, “I think he should be [back on TV]. Unfortunately, I don’t know… The way that things have changed, I don’t see him having that opportunity.”

While Lashley hopes that his comments may help reignite Omos’ WWE career, he admitted that it’s unclear what’s next for the towering athlete. MVP, who managed Omos during his WWE run, has previously mentioned that Paul “Triple H” Levesque envisioned Omos as an attraction to be used sparingly, rather than appearing weekly on television.

Despite his limited role on TV, Omos has found a new outlet by launching a YouTube channel called “The Giant Connoisseur”, where he reviews fragrances—showcasing another side of his larger-than-life personality.

With Lashley rumored to be heading to AEW and reuniting with his former Hurt Business allies MVP and Shelton Benjamin, fans are left wondering what’s next for Omos and whether WWE will give him another chance to shine on TV.

Do you think Omos should be back on WWE television, or do you agree with WWE’s current approach? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
