WWE Teases New Romance Angle For Nikkita Lyons & Oba Femi During 10/22 NXT

WWE’s NXT brand brings surprises for fans each week, and they did not disappoint with the go-home episode of the show before Halloween Havoc. Not only did Chelsea Green and Piper Niven show up unannounced, but fans also saw signs of a new, unexpected, romance.

During the October 22 WWE NXT, Adriana Rizzo suffered a beatdown backstage. While some fans thought that it was Delta, now Zaria, at first, that may not be the case at all. Later on in the broadcast, the identity of that attacker was likely revealed.

Nikkita Lyons was shown backstage and then Oba Femi approached her in the middle of her conversation. She looked up at Femi and gave him “the eyes” before he draped his coat across her arm. Then she held it like a true valet.

While this may have teased a romance angle between the two, it may be a bit early for that. We do know that WWE has obviously paired them up in some respect, so now Oba Femi has a female on his side, and it’s someone who can cause a lot of damage.

Nikkita Lyons just made her return to television after a really long injury hiatus. Her knees have gone through a lot of damage over her short career, so pairing her up with Oba Femi may be a great way to keep her on television, but also keep her safe. We will have to see how things transpire from this point on, but Oba Femi and Nikkita Lyons’ alliance was certainly a surprise to see for a lot of fans.
