The October 22nd edition of WWE NXT promises to be a night worth remembering, dealing with the fallout from last week’s events and laying the groundwork for upcoming storylines as the era of NXT on the CW Network continues to go strong.
This week, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane will face Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson of Meta-Four in tag team action. There is some history between the teams, as Jackson and Legend were ringside during the October 14 episode of WWE RAW, where Damage CTRL competed against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill and the match is sure to be a solid one.
Former WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi is set to square off against Luca Crusifino. Recently, Femi lost the NXT North American title to Tony D’Angelo, marking his first loss of the year and ending his record-setting reign at 273 days and there is no doubt that Femi will look to reclaim his title once again.
Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer will take on Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley (of Fatal Influence) in this week’s NXT episode. This match was arranged by NXT General Manager Ava during a backstage segment last week and. Fans are excited for Giulia and Vaquer teaming up as it will serve as a precursor for their NXT Halloween Havoc match against Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez.
A match between Jaida Parker and Tatum Paxley is also scheduled for the October 22 episode of NXT. This matchup was announced after Parker interrupted Paxley during her playtime, leading to the decision for their match and there’s no doubt that fans can look forward to some solid in-ring action in the bout.
Trick Williams and Ethan Page have been feuding for the past few months already and Ethan Page will challenge Williams for the NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc. Ahead of their match, the two will speak to the NXT audience during this week’s show, so fans can expect a lot of heated words being exchanged during their segment.
Tonight’s episode of NXT has a ton of action in store for fans as it will be the third episode on the CW Network, so the hype is truly immeasurable. With the likes of Ethan Page, Stephanie Vaquer and more on the show, it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss.
