Booker T Once Booted MMA Fighter Out of the Arena for Drinking His Red Bull

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has accomplished a lot in his pro wrestling career, especially during his time in WCW. Booker T is also a legitimate tough guy and it appears he once booted out an MMA fighter for drinking his Red Bull.

Booker T is a big fan of Red Bull and usually keeps it in a cooler backstage at wrestling events. He doesn’t like anyone touching his drink, even if they’re a well-known MMA fighter.

While speaking on Six Feet Under, Booker T recalled a time when he nearly made a big mistake. He walked into the locker room and saw Sabu with a guy who was drinking his Red Bull. When he asked the guy where he got it, the response was that he took it from the cooler. Booker got angry, demanding to know why the guy was in his locker room and drinking his drink. The guy apologized and offered to pay, but Booker knocked the Red Bull out of his hand, which made a mess on the floor.

Booker insisted that the guy leave, not realizing at the moment that he was an MMA fighter who could have easily defended himself. Even so, Booker was so upset about the drink that he walked the guy out of the building, laughing about how mad he had been.

“I almost made a fatal mistake one day. I had a Red Bull flip out. I came in the locker room and it was Sabu standing there with this guy. This guy was drinking a Red Bull, and the cooler was right there. I looked at him and I go, ‘Where did you get that Red Bull?’ He goes, I got it out of the cooler. ‘Who are you?’ Before he says anything, ‘Why are you in the locker room? Why are you drinking my Red Bull?’ He’s like, ‘Ah man, I’m sorry. I’ll pay you for it.’ I knocked the Red Bull out of his hand, it hits the ground, and I go, ‘Why are you in my locker room? Get out of here. Get out of the locker room.’ Sabu goes, ‘He’s with me.’ ‘No, he’s not with you. Get out.’ He starts walking out of the locker room. ‘Nah, get out of the building.’ I walked him all the way to the back door and threw him out of the building. I found out he was a MMA fighter. He could have kicked my ass all over the place and I would’ve have known it. I was that mad, he bought it.”

Booker T clearly loves his Red Bull to the point that he fears no one, even if it’s an MMA fighter. Regardless, Booker T is aware he was lucky the fighter didn’t demolish him in the locker room and that’s all that matters to him right now.
