Adam Cole and Britt Baker, a favorite couple in the wrestling world since they began dating in 2017, were recently the subject of breakup rumors. Fans who viewed them as the ideal wrestling duo were taken aback by the news. Cole has now confirmed that they have parted ways.
Fans first noticed something was off when Cole and Baker stopped posting photos together over a year ago. The rumors gained momentum earlier this year when Adam Cole revealed he was moving from Florida to Pennsylvania alone, further fueling speculation, as Britt Baker works as a dentist in Florida, and the two previously shared a home there.
“Hey Chugs Army, I just wanted to take this time to give you all a little bit of an update! I can’t explain how much I miss the streams and hanging out with you all. This move has been much more intense than I had planned. I am moving by myself from FL to PA, so it’s taken much more time than I had anticipated. I don’t think I’m going to be able to stream until next week, but I promise that the first thing I’m going to do once I’m settled is get my streaming setup ready to go so we can hop back on stream. I do think I’ll be gone for the rest of the week as I continue to pack and get ready.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated, Adam Cole has confirmed that he and Britt Baker have ended their romantic relationship. However, he stated that they still care for each other deeply and remain supportive friends. Cole expressed his admiration for Britt, stating that he wants her to be happy and successful, just as she wishes the same for him. He acknowledged that while they have chosen to part ways, Britt will continue to be an important person in his life, and he considers her one of his best friends.
“We are no longer a couple. But when I say that we both still love each other and are still friends and still so supportive of each other, that could not be more true. I think the world of Britt. I want her to be as happy and successful as humanly possible, and I know she feels the exact same way about me. We did decide to go our separate ways, but that doesn’t mean that she will not be an incredibly important part of my life. Britt is absolutely one of my best friends. She’s someone that I love dearly and will always love dearly, and there is no ill will between me and her whatsoever.”
Cole also shared that reading online comments about their breakup has been difficult for him. He stressed that there is no animosity between them and that it’s possible for people to separate while still having affection for one another. He hopes fans understand that there’s no need to pick sides in their situation.
“I don’t want anyone to ever think that me and Britt dislike each other. I think it is possible, in situations, for people who are in relationships to kind of go their separate ways, but still care about one another. The last thing I would want is fans to pick sides or anything like that.”
